Hi Everyone!
I was surfing youtube the other day and I passed through "Top HoN Plays, Top LoL Plays..." etc. So, I decided to make a series featuring the Lockdown top 10. I haven't seen other people do it... so I hope this series will entertain you.

Here is Top 5 Dec. 2nd, 2012 Episode 1 (Just Testing Episode):

Rules/Procedure:
1) I spectate 5 random matches every day for 6 days. Every Sunday I compile the top 10 for the video. (Except the 1st Episode, I just recorded 6 matches in one day to see how it would work out.)
2) I define a "Top Play" as something that is lucky or takes skill. Something You Don't See in Lockdown Everyday. The top 10 plays won't always be Skolvers doing the pokey dance. <_<
3) Each Week will be something different. So if something you think should be in the Top 10, it will probably show up in the future episodes.
4) I'm sorry if I seem like a stalker. I won't record matches with the same people more than one time in a row. >_>
5) I will post each episode in this thread every week for you guys to enjoy (hopefully).

Suggestions/Questions:
Should I make a Top Plays series for each Tier? Would you guys be interested in that?
Any songs you recommend for the other series? Something that works well with fighting/battle scenes and won't get hit by copyright >.<
Should I extend it over to Blast Network?
Any other suggestions? I would be very glad to hear more suggestions from you guys :)

Nice.

These techniques were actually very nice. this could really help some new players in Lockdown. You could make top plays for tier 2 but probably not for tier 1. I suppose you could do it for BN as well since there's 2-3 matches going on usually.

Sounds like a great idea!

I think it's a great idea and I would definitely enjoy watching them.
As for music, something classical like moonlight sonata would be awsome.
(Not sure how well it would fit the fast pace of the game but I'm sure you
could make it work xD). Feel free to use what ever music the majority of
our community wants. I look forward to your work :)

Servers, BN, tiers

As far as I know this was USA server, maybe EU server. I wouldn't stretch this into BN:o . Maybe a different thread for BN, if you maybe do decide to do tiers probably keep it in the same thread. ( I don't suggest tier 1).

Also how about the top players in GLD not just RLD?

On the other hand Icegills Valiance/GF combo was quite impressive, and also not fun to be on the receiving end of

You know, I was thinking on doing this kind of videos when the Spectator function came out, buts its kind of boring going and watching people, other than the fact that it takes a lot of time and most of the time you dont find what you're looking for.

It would be very, very nice if there would be a Reply function, and all the players get acces to matches (I think Bacon-Strip suggested this some time ago), that would make things a lot easier and better, you could get Recons recorded.

I suggest you watch GvG matches mostly, On randoms you can find some good plays, but it will be hard, on GvG you will find a lot of good plays.

And also, nice video :)

So.... I'll probably mix it up US/EU servers. And have Tier 2 + Tier 3. I personally think BN would look nice to have its own series.

Meh. It was just a testing episode. I kind of just smacked stuff together. I hope the future episodes will have better shtuff in it.

Yeah. The other games like HoN have a replay of the entire match for each character. So people that want to put in a play for the Top 10 can be like "Oh look at 5:82 on this Lockdown Game at 6:10 PM" or something like that. I'll PM people if they reach the top 10..... If I do it every match.... too much typing...

@Zaderules Also to your youtube comments, I never go for damage, I base my play style on capping. And might I add, a good majority of my games contain me always having the highest caps and defends, regardless of my damage.

It was sad having to watch that happen T~T

But omg dude... Did you not see that DOUBLE KILL I had after the 30second mark?! Its kinda un-noticable because its in the top right corner of the screen. And I totally could have saved the base if two more players didnt come in after that >.<

XD But yea.... do more of these video's for sure! Maybe it would be cool with voice commentary, kinda like they do on the sports channels? :P
