Hi guys, I was just wondering, how can I get the steam knight helmet and still be able to use PayPal to buy energy packs and the like. I know that once you convert to Steam you can only pay with the Steam Wallet, and my mom doesn't want to put her credit card into that, so I am forced to use PayPal, but the only way to get the Steam Knight helmet is through steam... Does the helmet bind to you once you get it? Can you unbind it? Help would greatly be appreciated!

sorry, i got confused on the wording.
I was on Steam for a while and if i remember, the ability to buy CE without Steam Wallet is still there. I think.
wait....your mom doesnt like using Steam Wallet? for me, thats the most secure way. of course...you can...nvm. your not old enough.

You can also bind your first account to steam then make a second one and use it to buy the energy, then trade it. The only downside are elevator passes and packs. But works for raw energy and promos with boxes.

I should be old enough
I'm 15 turning 16 soon. But I don't have a job or credit account so I can't use the steam wallet myself, if i could i would. But little-Juan what do you mean it uses paypal?

You can put money into your steam wallet using many methods, PayPal is one of them. It simply transfers money from your paypal account to your steam account.

Really? Wow okay I'll talk to my mom about that and hopefully she agrees so that I CAN use it with Steam cause I'd like to its just that I figured you couldn't buy stuff in steam without putting money directly from your credit...

Ok so this is weird now...
I can't convert my account to steam now because it says I've already converted an account even though i haven't. Might it be because I have a Knight on my steam account already?

Could be. You could ask OOO to delete your steam Spiral Knights account so that you can move your account over.
