Really? I guess I've just somehow never been in a scenario where there actually was Rock Jelly next to a Ghost Block, since I thought that Rock Jellies only spawned if you smashed the block they were disguised as first...
Well yay for happy endings (or as "happy" as being Sliced/Shot/Blown up can be anyway...)

uh
rock jellies only appear if ye destroy stone blocks. if destroying a ghost block with stone blocks on it, the rock jelly won't come out.

If the Rock Jelly spawn isn't determined until you actually hit the rock though, logically the ghost blocks couldn't affect them since their spawn hadn't been determined yet.

i came to this realization a few months ago.
ever since, i hit Every...single....block. I sometimes get rage angry when some one in FSC hit a ghost block. LOL
even in Lockdown, you might catch me avoiding the PVP and going straight to hitting blocks.
im currently in a Rock Jelly phase.

I'm not sure about Rock Jellies ...
But I do know that Monster Cages are affected by ghost blocks. This happens rather frequently in Gloaming Wildwoods.
That's probably why we don't see Slooms anymore. XP

Dear god that's horrifying, at least the Rock Jellies could arguably be sleeping (which is why they don't attack unless struck) when it happens, I doubt the Monster Cage critters are so lucky.

Oh poor rock jellies. Guardianknight cries pitifully.
I feel kind of bad now. Then again, I never liked them anyways.
Always sneaking up on me trying to get in a cheap shot.
On a side note, slooms aren't limited to monster cages unless
that was recently changed.

Yeah.
The absolutely last place they were available was Monster Cages, after the levels they naturally spawned in were removed.
Eventually, even their existence in Monster Cages was negated. They're as dead as the Vog Cub.

Gonna spoil this thread by saying that rock jellies spawn upon the Stone Block's spawn, and aren't affected by Ghost Blocks, so yeah...
