For me, they are often fun to play with and use when fighting against other enemies.
On occasion I would have allies that would unwittingly cause them to be shocked in some way, shape, or form.
I've even repelled charged ones with a caliber's charged attack once, failing the second time.

But I wanted to ask three specific questions.

Is it possible to trap a quicksilver within the grasp of an electron charge bomb?
Is it advisable to trap a quicksilver within the grasp of an electron charge bomb?
Is it possible to trap a moving quicksilver in the grasp of an electron charge bomb?

(talkin to quicksilvers) Well...

...I call it play even if they call it survival. Sort of pointless and cruel to keep them alive for my other menial purposes, it is. But much experimentation I do with AI who would deem me to be the enemy. So call "play" a euphemism?

I love using my Polaris on

I love using my Polaris on them, but they die way too quickly. Maybe I need to bring a Kilowatt instead...

Possible? Yes, any Quicksilver will be pulled in by a vortex.

Advisable? I don't know... on those lucky occasions when you get a Quicksilver or two along with robots, undead, or other slimes, you can use the sucker as a weapon. And, of course, if you have someone with an Acheron, DA, or other such weapon in your group, it's ALWAYS a good idea to suck in the biggest group of beasties you can get.

The answer to all three questions is a tentative "yes." I now have an Electron Vortex (5*), so it's easy to trap quicksilvers and other enemies in in the suction. Since the quicksilvers usually end up shocked after the bomb goes off, oftentimes the other nearby enemies will perish quickly.

As far as I know, I'm part of a minority of people who enjoy using enemies to kill enemies. I lure trojans into killing trojans, bump bombies into zombies, and bait jellies into exploding blast cubes. Naturally, shocking quicksilvers and poisoning gremlins are things I do as well.
