@Oat: Apparently some people have had issues with receiving their Secret Santa emails, which might well explain why others haven't been getting their gifts on the 25th.
Have you checked your spam folder for the email, and can you find your email address in the first post?

For everyone who had issues please look at the informative post above.
Also, I'm most probably going to compile a list of people who didn't receive a presents so I can set aside some prizes, for them, from the ones stated earlier. Last but not least, I will indeed be doing this event next year, perhaps with a special twist. I will be sure to list peoples email as my own so that I can mail pairings in game to prevent issues. I'm looking foward to organizing other events like this for other holidays (i.e. Easter, Halloween, etc.).

@ Behavior in the picture - that's not very in-line with the holiday spirit this event was presumably supposed to foster; I was under the impression Christmas was more about giving anyway, ladies and gents. While you may have given a present under the pretense of receiving a present, the giving part was the more important part to begin with. That being said, I'm sure Doom's working on something so that everyone comes out of this not feeling like they got shafted, so to speak.
Either way, I support things like this despite my otherwise standoff-ish demeanor when I'm playing SK, and I hope to see more events organized in the future.

I think a lot of people who said that were poor
and asked for a HUGE gift probably are some of the ones doing this. They might sign up, get goody they wished for (or what they didn't wish for) and then don't send any gifts/an overly small one. I have both received and sent mine, so I feel nice and warm inside for that. ^.^
If anyone is raging about not getting a present, though, keep in mind that this is more of a giving thing then a getting thing. The getters get goodies because the givers need someone to give too. :P

A suggestion: those who didn't receive an IGN to send a gift to could donate one to Doom-Dude, in order that he can have extra things to distribute to the people who didn't receive anything yet.
Also, if you went against the spirit of Christmas and either
a) posted that you didn't get anything from your Secret Santa when you did, or
b) received your gift and email but didn't send on your own gift,
then I am Disappointed in you.
If you haven't received anything yet, then calm down, people are attempting to remedy the situation.

Honestly this event didnt work out as well as Id hoped, its the 27th here and Ive kind of lost hope, and it looks like Im not the only one.
I really do hope this was a mess up with the generator and not SO many people just being selfish (I doubt they could forget considering they most likely got gifts as well)
To all the people saying "Hey dont complain giving is more important than recieving", this age old motto is only true if everyone has to give and get a gift.
Im not a rich man but I chose to go wishlist with my gift, since I knew that was something my partner really wanted, I chose to give it to them when we were online, chat them up, make it special for them, and I am very pleased I did this, regardless of whether I get a gift or not. When you realy make an effort to put thought into something like this instead of being a cheapo and just sending out 5k cr (which if that really is all you could afford [which I doubt] then more power to you) but most everyone on this list of people put something very affordable on their wishlist.
Hey atleast they got something though, but if you think of it like this: Canozo gives a very kind and thoughtful gift thatcost a bit (showing he was really committed to making his partner happy) and watched him even use it, very very respectable. His partner gives him 5k cr and some shards, putting no time or effort and all in all being lazy.
Now if you think about it in that pretense, it doesnt seem as right, does it?

@Dizzy: Perhaps, but in some cases it isn't possible to make use of someone's wishlist - either because they didn't put anything in their wishlist, or because the items on there were totally unrealistic (asking for halos, auras or wings as their only choices of gifts) and most people would be unable (or, perhaps, unwilling) to purchase said gifts for someone they've never met.
I had the former case, and made something of an attempt to find out what my person's preferences were, but failed miserably in my attempt (I couldn't find them at all), so I had to resort to default value of 'something useful and worthwhile', which ended up being weapon slots and some assorted usables.
I can also completely sympathise with someone not willing to sacrifice several months' worth of savings for the sake of a complete stranger; certain people would prefer to try to progress in the game rather than spend excessive amounts on other people.
On the other hand, though, there are still certain people around who were quite willing to donate above what they expected to receive, and there's the fact that Doom himself is trying to help out the other people who missed out for whatever reason, all of which makes me feel a little bit better about my own faith in humanity.
So, yeah. Please don't get mad at Doom, because none of this is his fault, and he is doing his best to make sure that people are all going to get something, even if they missed out on the day.

First off, I'd like to thank Doom-Dude for organizing this whole event. Sure not everyone received a gift but as
many have said before me, it's the giving of a gift that should be our focus. Doom-Dude, I know everything didn't
exactly go according to your plan however I appreciate all the work you put into this event and how much you're
trying to fix what needs to be fixed. You've done a great job and you deserve a gift more than a lot of us.
Sadly, I'm having issues logging on to SK so I currently have no idea if I've even received a gift or not. But thankfully
I was able to send my gift early Christmas morning to my paired knight.
Hopefully all of you who have yet to receive a gift can still find joy in giving something to someone else. If you
never received an email about who you were supposed to be SS for, then maybe you could consider sending
something to Doom-Dude as a thank you for all the work he's done.
Anyways, I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and continue to enjoy your time with loved ones throughout
the rest of this wonderful season of giving. Happy Holidays!
