So, somedays ago I read a bit of Spiral Knights History and especially about "The Magnus vs Chris Era" thanks to Canozo writing the link for one of their fighting threads. Whatever, the thing that got my attention was Chris claiming he is the oldest active player in the game, but Shoebox denied that with some evidence, also whatever.

So I want to know 2 things :

1. What was the name of the first knight created in the game history ? I mean by that even since the first launch of the game either beta or anything else.( Excluding OOO, developers etc.. )

2. And who is the oldest active player currently ?

I wonder if there is a place that we can see the logs "If they existed".

You can look at old players here: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/index.php?title=Special:ListUsers&limit=50...
It shows all players created slightly before the official release but there were betas that predate the list. Based on that list Nekosniper is the oldest active player but as I said it doesn't includes players in the older betas.

You can check your own account number, but I have yet to discover a way to check other player's account numbers.

OOO was able to run these stats. That was some time ago, but I'm sure something along these lines can be figured. First person or how many people or whatever the case may be.

Where to find account number?
Only able to find name based info.
It does say that I have played 74:18:00:26.
But beyond that I can find no other stats related to history greater than 3 months ago.

And what does the number of Skylarks that crashed Yttriu O_O ? Does that mean there was skylarks before ? Or... are there going to be another Skylark that will crash so the number increase O_o ?

You can find your own account number by clicking on "forum preferences" then clicking "view" or "edit" and looking at the URL. Typing in someone elses account number just gives an "access denied" message though...

Actually, according to the list (Assuming the Admins signed up to the forums at the time of being added to the team), Cory was there prior to Nick, and "Mjohnson" prior to both of them.

Mjohnson is labeled "Bureaucrat" as well as "Admin", which I assume means he is a representative of SEGA.

EDIT: Although Nick, Cory, and Poseidon are minutes to hours away from each other. It's safe to assume the 3 of them were all there at the same time.

I also noticed that Dogrock was like #20 on that list (d0gr0ck). I saw his activity not long ago - he's usually a Wiki Editor. He's the oldest player on the list that I recognize - other than Admins of course. Oh, and Shoebox. But Shoebox is inactive now I believe.

Check back to the most recently past Clockwork Confidential for who Mjohnson is. The labels you see are just account permissions on the Wiki system.

Also, the forums and wiki account numbers/signup dates reflect when you validated your email so you could edit/post. You can see that far fewer wiki accounts have been registered than accounts created for use in the game. I wouldn't be surprised if the forums follow a similar trend. For some users their forum date might be nowhere near when they started playing.

Also, I'm not the oldest player, just a very old one. There are still a few players around from before the Preview Events that happened before what most people call the beta now. These events were before the current wiki and forum system existed. Good luck finding those players.

i play from official launch, but i have so bad memmory for names;)
i think all players created in beta (before official launch) have some special custome armor. so u can use that for some evidence..;)

Wait what, I'm famous?

Trowzers is still active, actually, so that just makes me second oldest active player (?) going by that list. And as others have mentioned, the list doesn't show anything from before the last closed preview, so we could still have some truly ancient players among us.
