Shivermist Buster.
Only thing I need to get still is my 5* gun, a Magma Driver. Then I might invest in a trinket slot or two. But man, I'm finally able to do Firestorm without leeching.
I just hope my equipment is still valid when Tier 4/Core comes out.

I don't have a lot of confidence in higher star gear. I mean maybe it'll happen but look at bombs, can the Shivermist Buster get any bigger of a radius? (I mean I'd LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that but if it got any bigger I would never have to move. I assume the same thing for people who actually use damaging bombs as well.
And on the other hand, if they did come out with higher leveled equipment but didn't upgrade the bombs to match, that'd be so unfair :'(
Maybe they could create something like simple weapon fusion for tier 4 to make sorta 6 star weapons. Like adding a Shivermist to whatever the biggest blast bomb is. That way the radius wouldn't increase but it'd get a new ability that would take time to acquire and be useful...but that's thinking too much (I can't help it, I miss the normal damage of cold snap :3).

NegimaSonic, there are other ways the status inflicting bombs could be upgraded. The obvious one that jumps out would be improving the status inflicted from minor to moderate. Or having absurd cross-bred abominations that did things like cause two statuses at once!
