I just wanna make this short: I don't like how people get 5 star items without being in the right tier. I would like a limit to what certain tiers can have.
Tier Limit
The latter, Lug.
I don't see how it's an issue, unless you're referring to players who go 'Imma big boy now, lookie at my big glowy sword (DA) and cower in fear of my almighty holiness.'
2 mins later
"Rev me Vogammit i hav a DA u noobs revrevrev..."
In which case I'd just up and tell them to shut it because the boot doesn't fit.
TL;DR: You met players who think they're better than you because although you're in the same tier as them, they have endgame weapon(s) and flash it off in your face, then fail epically, correct?
Even if not, no. It doesn't matter. An idiot with a sword will be an idiot with a sword. Give said idiot a bigger sword; the idiot will still be an idiot. 'Cept now, he'll have an ego.
Clamp it down after he fails.
Actually, this has been balanced off, a wee bit only.
All gears above the level of the said stratum will be nerfed accordingly to suit the stratum. But the nerfing is such that the equipment is still stronger than others.
I just wanna make this short: I don't like how people get 5 star items without being in the right tier. I would like a limit to what certain tiers can have.
Of course, this implicitly includes the fact that people who have already reached higher tiers legitimately are allowed to equip whatever the hell they want, right?
He means that Lower tier people get to get higher tier gear without being properly cleared.
I don't think the opposite applies.
Well seeing as getting higher tier gear allows you access to higher tiers, I don't know how you can shut of people to higher tier gear before they get to that tier, because then they'd never get to that tier! Paradox time.
And maybe I want to upgrade my shield to 5 star before I get the rest of my gear to 4 star because I place heavy importance on it?
He said a limit, so I would assume minimal tier access before being able to go further. Can get 2* in T1, 4* while In T2 maximum.
Not that it'd make much of a difference anyway, mind you.
Hates when you can just buy off weapons without going through the effort of crafting one. Ruins the game, slightly.
If you want to hop into the game straight away with all the buffed weapons, you are gonna have a bad time. These weapons are nerfed accordingly to the stratums anyway, so what is the point of getting da straight off the shop.
No, he means 'get'. Doesn't matter if buy or craft, as long as someone can obtain them.
Just refining your understanding.
Well then, the OP should probably try to define "get"
Feels impossible to craft, will take weeks of grinding to buy recipes (considering you can't get it from HoH because of Tier 1 status), to get energy and materials too.
And other than obtaining it from a friend (which means unbinding costs), or just getting CE from a friend or buying Ce, i don't think there are other ways of "getting" a 5 star.
Or you know, a F2P player could jump straight from proto to Ancient Plate by tagging along with a friend in FSC runs.
You don't need cash to skip tiers.
How would we get tier clearance if we aren't allowed to make above-tier gear?
Yeah.. if someone is really reallly willing to help out a fresh new player on a FSC run...
Do you mean people with 5* equipment going in T1 and T2, or people buying 5* equipment from their wallets before being competent enough to even do T1?
