I got a Sprinkle Aura off the auction house for like 440k a day after that promo started. Outliers on the auction house aren't a good indicator of value, especially for such rare items that still don't have any defined values.

whoever won that for 600k got lucky indeed. The coat is NO DOUBT worth over twice that much. You'll notice two things:
#1, that it went for 600k @ buyout (so you cannot judge the value by that--would be different with an open ended auction)
#2, it got bought at extremely quick (which means all we can determine is that it was underpriced)
One DID sell for an ungodly amount on the AH yesterday. But you also cannot use that as the value of the item, as all it takes is for 1 idiot to click buy now, or 1 person to accidentally click buy now. One extreme outlier cannot define the market (extremely high priced b/o that is successful) nor can another (600k).
The coat will never be worth only 600k, the supply vs demand will always be skewed for it to be worth about double that. Unless or until they have a promo with higher than 1.5% chance, the coat will be worth a good sum of crowns (even if it doesn't hardly look different from the dusker coat). Red and white chap wearers who like to combine them with wolver coats (god help them, lol, its beyond me) will want this coat.
A white chap with red prism color and either prism dapper combo, hallow dapper combo (matches the santa coat perfectly), or even divine dapper combo, or glow eyes. (also with prism tennas or mecha wings), its going to be a good looking combo. Well, as good looking as a chap+wolver line can look.
TL;DR
The coat isn't worth what some think it is, even if one sold for an extremely high amount. But it'll never be worth only 600k.
--lets not forget that snarby sets were going for 40-60k ce that first weekend. There is always one or two knee-jerk purchases that first day or so.

1. if you got the winterfest coat for 600k then LUCKY you as thats cheap as its worth way more and will be in the long run
2. Shadow D Wings are worth what now ? 1.2m ? um good luck with that
3. purchased a lock box for 1cr off AH once, is it worth just 1cr or is it worth more ?
