I was always curious why snipes flew away when people walked near them. So I went up and asked them. Turns out that a lot of knights are very smelly. Please bath before you climb out of your stinky Ready Room, thank-you! It gets hot and sweaty in there when you spend several days cooped up in it.

Nah

Snipes are shy, which is why they fly away. What you need to do is chase one into a corner and sit on it. Not only will it not go anywhere, it is also a soft and comfy pillow. You can then pester and annoy it with all kinds of silly conversations and petting. Snipes love that kind of thing.

FYI everyone knows purple is best (https://dl.dropbox.com/u/32069310/whydidIdothis.PNG), so purple snipes are the superior snipe race :P.

Whenever they talk to me they always want me to sacrifice newbs to their satanic feathered god who plans to devour the god of BLT sandwiches to gain the holy power of omnivores, then move to the Clockworks to prove to the Strangers who the dominant species are. Then eat them. Fluffily. After obtaining sufficient sustenance they will grow larger than the royal jiggler so they can eat him. After all the big things are devoured, including Vanaduke, they plan to turn on the Spiral Order to steal our overpowered weapons and use them against us. Eventually they will grow larger than Cradle itself and become a sentient race of planet eating, helicopter birds flopping around in the empty void until they each become planets inhabited by their tiny fluffy helicopter babies who will do the same as their predecessors to the next unsuspecting race to visit.

Or maybe they just wanted some popcorn.

@Luguiru

From what I understand from my captive.. er.. snipe friends... they may have big plans but they are quite lazy and unmotivated, prefering to fly around haven and gossip about the knights they see... I think they just want popcorn to snack on, while they proceed with their smack talk...

A conversation I've personally overheard...

Snipe 1: Can you believe she is actually wearing that divine mantle and vog helm together..
Snipe 2: Ikr, I think we need to institute fashion school or something...
Snipe 1: Lets go fly over them and see if we can poop on their heads...
Snipe 3: I vote we try to find that NJ dude, his outfits are always so hideious that anything we can add would only help...
Snipes laugh loudly and fly off...

(Becca laughs silently to herself as she overhears this...)

Kats

The shyness of Snipes is why I prefer Kats. What's that you say? It bit you? Oh, don't worry, it's just a love-nip.

When I first played and got

When I first played and got to Haven, I freaked out about how fluffy and small and round and squishy they were. Then I lost it when I saw them wearing tiny cute headbands in the training house. Then I was sad when I couldnt sqush them or shoot them. they just flew away like helicopters. I totally agree with the fact that we are just smelly.
