Since the last update some people started donating materials and crowns into the treasury, i think that instead of having the option "Treasury" at the console or if you update the game and make the storage/treasury available in chest form, which would be awesome, we should have the option "Donate" and all materials added by people would go to the storage of their rank and crowns would go in the treasury, then they can access any treasury and move something down if they really need to but people will not have any confusion with those and they wouldn't need to open 2 menus to deposit materials and crowns. A Officer/GM would be able to move materials from storage into the treasury or the materials would be arranged automatically, explanation following.
Some further improvement to that would be nice, like a waterfall material distribution system, GM/Officer sets the maximum amount of materials in the corresponding storage and when they are used they automatically get removed from the upper storages but a limit for single person should be added so any 1 person can't take more then the limit of materials in that storage, so they can't empty the place out when no one is around :) . Simplest way is to define the limit based on stars.
Features i suggested here would go along well with the features i am about to suggest next in a new suggestion "Guild Crafting Stations".
Also, drag and drop should move everything or even better, it should open a menu with a slider and a option to type in how many you wish to transfer, just like steam trade has.
Although the first point sounds cool, I have to reluctantly disagree.
Don't get me wrong, it sounds good, but...
Can't really put my finger on why, but I don't quite like it...
The Waterfall system I have to disagree with completely. The point of separating the storages is to keep the items held in them separate. Of course, this thing is only manipulable by an officer or GM, but is still easily abusable.
Drag and Drop: I'd say yes, but as it stands, not really necessary. Clicking it is already faster, considering Shift-Clicks can add in 10s as well, and that the 'drag time' is time that could be spent clicking the other things you need to move.
In terms of organizing a Custom-arranged Inventory, totally useful. But with SK right now? Not so much.
