So I was prepared to buy some Winterfest boxes with the starter pack yesterday, and I was fairly sure I'd get 4 boxes.

Now overnight, OOO decides to cut the promo in half by instead offering 2 frosty and only 2 winterfest boxes.

I mean I'm not one to complain, but with the already steep odds at getting any of the accessories or the much sought after Impostoclause costume, now I'm discouraged to even buy the CE offers. The Frosty boxes being offered are easily obtainable with any fair amount of work, so why include them in a promo? Are they worried this offer will drive CE prices too low? Is this a cash grab intended to award to award the few super lucky?

What are your thoughts and opinions about the decrease in winterfest boxes being offered?

well, when i hear about red boxes from a friend i bought my CE. i wasnt expecting to get Half Frosty Half Winter Fest box. while i find quite curious about giving the same boxes you can get from tokens, i think was a bit my fault too, for not read what i going to get if i buy some Ce.

now... why they didnt this on Halloween promo? i think its a bit of tricky this promo. but oh well :P next time i should read whats its going on with the Promos.

It just disappoints me is all

It just disappoints me is all right when I was ready do buy them. I suppose though it's because it features old premium items that people would get angry because of potential re-releases.

But the grant rate at getting them is so low, I doubt it would matter much then anyways.

The promo was not changed in

The promo was not changed in any way. We always offered equal parts Winterfest and Frosty Prize Boxes with select energy purchases. All we changed recently was listing the total number of boxes you would receive to specifying the exact quantities of each.

The original announcement made this clear.
