I have a Voltedge with CTR VH + Undead VH + Construct Low, but I don't have any plans to sell it at the moment. It is by far my absolute favorite sword.
However, I will let you know if I decide to quit the game (this has crossed my mind before). Because if I quit, I will probably try to sell most of my inventory.

I don't really understand why you get excited about a CTR VH brandish. Its nothing special. I'd rather look for CTR + ASI combination, its much more rare and powerful (you can get damage bonus with at least two armor sets - skolver and snarbolax, which makes damage bonus vs monster obsolete in swords).

This is an arsenal discussion, but I don't find the ASI very useful on a sword that is already very fast. I have an ASI VH Glacius, and I find the speed increase to be pretty underwhelming. I would probably prefer Construct VH over ASI VH, because I would wear Vog instead of Skolver in a construct stratum.
The undead damage bonus is extremely useful in FSC/UFSC/LoA. It opens up a lot of opportunities to get max sword and gun damage. For example, my FSC load out is:
Snarbolax Coat (Fire max)
Vog Cub Cap
Crest of Almire
Voltedge (CTR vh + Undead vh + Construct low)
Blitz Needle
Polaris
Shivermist Buster
2 gun damage trinkets
With this I basically have max sword damage and very high gun damage for Vana, without sacrificing any defenses. I have considered replacing the Vog cap with a max fire Shadowsun Stetson, but those seem to be pretty rare.

That set of equipment makes
That set of equipment makes sense in case you're trying to survive vanaduke himself, or fire tiles. Personally I use snarby set with fire UVs (max+high), swiftstrike buckler and a single gun trinket + sword damage trinket, and feel quite happy about my setup. Sure, vana does some significant damage with his fire tiles and mask bullets, but those can be avoided in most cases, and swiftstrike gives speed bonus to both swords and guns. My weapons: DA+Blitz+Shiver+cali-or-heated-weapon, my trinkets: sword damage + gun damage.
On the other hand, if you're ok without DA (I'm not) and use mostly guns, it makes sense to sacrifice sword damage bonus in favor of other bonuses, and use damage bonus on sword.
Interesting setup.
