The most recent one i have seen is Super Dimensional Fortress Macross Do you remember love?
I liked it because the art style was good, but it was just a rushed version of the show.

SDFM? I heard that somewhere before. Guess it's an anime movie? Like how The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya has movies that are like fillers?

That takes place before fellowship right?

You mean...You don't know?

Yes, it happens like 30 years before the Fellowship. I have not seen it yet - but I'm dying to! The book was great, like the LOTR Trilogy. I have high hopes that they'll make it well. Or...I guess that they did make it well now.

Actually it is 60 years before the Fellowship.

@Sev You haven't seen it yet!?! That is a crime against all that is "Precioussss!" Anywho, yeah, the book was great. So imagine the movie! And you're right, they did make it exceedingly well. But if you think you're gonna die waiting to see "An Unexpected Journey", just wait untill you've seen it and then have to wait for the next two to come out. That is sure death!

@Shadowki
Since I don't know exactlly what you mean, I'll give you the answers to the ways I interpreted the question.
The running time of An Unexpected Journey is - 2hrs 49min
From the start of An Unexpected Journey (the movie) to the end, it covers a period of - around 4 months
I hope either or these was the answer you were looking for.
