Well as far i understand frm the steam New its like they going to implement some kind of "Cash" on the trading system, so basically you would trade anything trought steam with cash (i dont know if i read carefully but i think mean you can trade your steam funds for stuff with the trading system) right now its on Beta but only with TF2 beta

Using steam market you can
Using steam market you can trade in-game items for steam funds (Steam takes 15%). As far as I know, you can't withdraw steam funds (unlike Diablo 3).
What happens if SK joins Market:
The benefit: you can get some $$ and buy your games.
The downside: I will have a harder time selling my games D: everyone will stop trading SK bazaar and move onto Steam market, as it gives better opportunities, sometimes at lower prices; CE price will skyrocket as people will stop purchasing "new" CE from OOO into SK directly, and will simply trade existing CE for steam funds $$. This will mean that CE supply will shorten, and demand will remain the same.
Same thing happened when Mission System was introduced: we got straight shortcuts to bosses and it became easier to get crowns to convert it to CE. Basically, demand for CE increased (why keep crowns, anyways? most deals are done for CE, at least outside of AH). As a result - 9k crowns per 100ce. Over 2 times higher than when the game appeared on Steam.
Same thing can happen with Market - CE price will go higher and higher until there aren't enough players buying CE with $$ to actually stimulate the economy.
On an unrelated note: I wonder if core will actually ever open, and weather we'll find anything other than infinite swarm + tons of accessories and hats there...
