Alrighty, I have a fully heated brute jelly set for LD, however I'm wondering if I should put in the effort to get a quicksilver set. I've stocked up a bunch of frosty accessories however I think they will go better with quicksilver, so should I do some RT? I'm perfectly capable of doing RT it's just I find it tedious and annoying. Any advice and/or insight would be very much appreciated, thanks!

The main question is : what would you use it for ?
It has : piercing, shock resist and movement speed.
The movement speed alone isn't worth it.
The shock resist is good for PvE, but the main problematic shock places, aka SL RT and Ghost in the Machine, do either Elemental or Shadow damage. In that regard, Mercurial Demo is better. Oh, and in case you use bomb, you have a bonus Bomb DMG med (I consider it a bonus, because I use mercurial demo only for the shock resist, coupled with the elemental resistance).
But where Mercurial really shines is in LD, because all those stats are useful : there are tons of toothpicks, polaris, and you never spit on a little movement speed. The only thing is, it's the poor man version of Skolver with shock resist. It doesn't have any offensive stat nor the freeze resist of SkolveR.

Mercurial is good armor, yes. Well, in my opinion. It is a rather insignificant bonus, and you'll be disappointed, but its a nice change from every other bonus and its nice to have.

Sorry, I worded it terribly. What I mean is for T2 LD. I have heated my brute jelly set, and I have obtained the quicksilver helm. But the RT was terrible. 7 long runs, how time consuming.

Go for your Quicksilver
It can really save yer a** in LD against toothpicks and pulsars. Also you can spit on those slow swords IF you get it to 5* for T3.

I went to the effort to get a quicksilver set, and I don't regret it in the slightest. Going to graveyard this thread, thanks for all the help guys!
Quicksilver is like the cool kid's Brute Jelly armor. The shock resistance is much better than stun when it comes to PvP. It helps you laugh at Toothpicks and Pulsars alike!
I personally think every item you get from RT is completely awesome.
