I just logged on, ready to play Spiral Knights again after a long break, when my friend asked me what size I chose.
What's up with this? Can I still change my eyes and whatnot?
Wait, so how do older players customize their eyes/height ect?

This time around, new players can add two accessories, change heights and eyes in addition to new proto armor.
No. You cannot change eyes and whatnot, not without modifiers(as to what you want to change...). Have fun playing SK!

You can.
Go to Vatel in the Bazaar or in a guildhall and you will find a wide assortment of personal colours, eyes and height modifiers which are all permanent after use (until you change it again, that is).
There are also other types of eyes and heights that Vatel does not have, like extra short / extra tall height modifiers and several types of eyes which are only obtainable through trading or by opening mirrored/iron lockboxes.
There are various usables in the game that let you change height, color, and eye shape. Some can be bought from Vatel, while others are found in lockboxes.
