im not realy that new to spiral knights but i thought this part of the forums would be the best place to put this topic so. I have an acc that i created thats going to be a bomber sionce there is very few of those but i dont know what shield would be best for me. I f somone would reply and give me a reason why i should get this sheild please tell me and thanks in advance

I'm predominantly a bomber and I usually use Either Ironmight or Crest of Almire when bombing.
(I would recommend you get one for each damage type if you can.)

For a bomber it's better to have a shield based on damage type of the level.
For example, in FSC: if I'm with people I trust, I'll run with a swiftstrike, shivermist, and Divine Avenger. If not, Crest of Almire, shivermist, DBB
There have been many threads on this topic, but they don't turn up in a search for "bomber shield", so here we go...
In offensive shields, Swiftstrike Buckler speeds up your sidearm swords and guns, if any. It also slightly, but only slightly, speeds up your bomb deployment. Barbarous Thorn Shield is nice if you use a sidearm sword frequently.
If you're not interested in such offensive considerations --- perhaps because you're a pure bomber --- then it all comes down to defense, so you have to look at the shields' statistics. Here are all of the 5-star shields except Dragon Scale, by damage type, with my recommendation:
* normal-only: Volcanic Plate Shield (or Ancient Plate or Omega Shell)
* piercing: Ironmight Plate Shield (or Barbarous Thorn or Royal Jelly or Aegis)
* elemental: Grey Owlite Shield (or Heater)
* shadow: Crest of Almire or Dread Skelly Shield
