On the second hit? It's been gone for a Year. Removed because stun was buggy. Why the [self censored] Has it not been put back once it was fixed?

OOO seems to always play to the biggest crowd... Y-Y

I placed this anywhere it might be relevant. I may be the only person who cares, but the fact that the stun may actually make it a useful weapon shouldn't be ignored.

...How would it compete with Final Flourish in PvP? It's a slow, sluggish, 2-swing, normal-damage sword whose only real appeal is the occasional stun.

...

Uh...no it wouldn't...

Even with Suda's status effect...it would arguably be the most hippie slow sword in the game. It's not really even comparable to the FF.

Guys, you don't know what you're talking about.

Hey, Sudaruska user here. Stun wasn't removed. I still stun stuff all the time with my charge attacks.

Although, it does have a very low chance to inflict stun it seems like. If I were to hit a group of 15 enemies with the charge, only about 3 of them will get stunned.

"On the second hit?"

Um... Huh? What did I miss? I'm slightly confused now. Regardless of that first sentence, the way the OP is written made it sound like they thought the charge is completely unable to inflict stun.

Pardon my ignorance.

Forgive my confusion over your thinking the OP was about the charge-Stun; I don't see any mention of the charge attack.

Not being a Suda user, I can't verify my information. But, I believe Tsu here is referring to the second-hit combo's ability to inflict stun on a target, much like the Faust's ability to cause curse on it's second hit.

The former of which apparently was removed due to Stun's annoying tendency to cause issues with enemy attack-routines, specifically double-attacking, in where a stunned enemy could let loose their performed attack twice in quick succession.

Oh, oh my. /derp

This entire thread was about the second hit of the normal combo. I thought it was talking about the charge attack, since the charge hits twice and stuns.

I never knew the Sudaruska used to stun on the second hit.

You never knew because it

You never knew because it never had that ability. The Stun feature for the Sudaruska branch of the Troika line has always been reserved for the charge attack. The Troika line has had some changes, but that's not one. I'm pretty sure not a single weapon was tweaked with old Stun problems in mind.

Stun on the second hit wouldn't make the Sudaruska notably better in Lockdown anyway since those speed boosted flourishes can interrupt faster than a heavy sword can swing. What would really make it a powerhouse is if both parts of the charge attack could hit in Lockdown. During the time of the missing invincibility frames is was the one-shot-wonder.

I use a Triglav and can confirm that its second swing has a chance to inflict Freeze. I kind of assumed that was also the case with the Sudaruska line, but seeing as how it isn't, I don't see why they shouldn't add it back in.
Maybe even up the status chances of both lines to make them more even with the DA and GF?

You know...

I prefer my ice one. The freeze on the charge is nice, and if I'm a recon they take full damage. (Note that this is T2)

However, we do need the original one to deal stun, too. It's not just good for PvE, you know.

@Dogrock

You need to not have ASI. That makes it so fast that the second hit misses. When you don't have ASI, they get flinched so that the second hit connects. I only get ASI from my class, so I don't get enough speed boost to hinder it.

really now? because when i

really now? because when i started using the troika line, there was some stun on the second hit. makes me wonder if you've actually used it, though i was a noob then, so maybe my info is wrong. either way, haveing the stun on the second hit should be done, at least in the name of balance.
