OK so yesterday i got a new computer, and It doesn't let me play alot of games, i.e minecraft. Its weird because I meet all system requirements and it doesn't even attempt to open it. It really sucks because I spent $$$ on this and I can't even play it.
Specs are as followed:

Microsoft Windows XP
professional
version 2002
service pack 3
Computer: Intel[R]
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.GHz
2.99GHz, 0.99 GB of ram

Sorry if this isn't enough I have no experience with Windows XP

1GB RAM is tough considering SK can take the most near 700mb. But if you know how to control your processes well, it could work.

Windows XP is fine.

Question : Do you have java installed? Java is needed to run the game. Install the latest Java update here. I believe minecraft also runs on java?

Enough. If your computer sucks, go complain to whoever sold it. Not our fault.
