So, a friend of mine found this guy here in Groundbreaker with a OOO badge by his/her name who we've never seen or heard of before. I searched the forums and found nothing on them and we're a bit curious on their identity/role. (S)he doesn't seem like a GM, because they don't have that purple glow, so maybe it's a new staff member? I don't know.

So, I want to ask you guys, the community, and maybe the GMs/staff if you've seen this person before and/or who this mystery (wo)man is?

Honk honk. Make way for the dead bunny.

.-.

That's weird.

What's even more strange, is that if he were part of OOO, he SHOULD be in their guild.

From the man who took the picture

I've been doing some investigating and have come up with some answers. While I still have no idea who Trifle is, I now know what his guild is.

The guild "Just Desserts" is a guild created by the GMs. They all made alts based on pastries and made a guild befitting of their names. They are all just desserts.

"... My guild with work friends is called "Just Desserts" so we all have dessert-themed names.
I'm also Zefyr, but that's my admin account and I'm rarely on it. So, if you want to find me playing, Creampuff is the knight I'll be on." - Zefyr's post from 2 years back

The only question left is, WHICH ONE OF YOU IS Trifle?!

I'm guessing it's their super

I'm guessing it's their super secret guild:

" RS: Are you and your team ever online playing with us, mere mortals? Which names should we look for?
Nick: You'll see some dev names pop up from time to time (I'm 'Nick') but if we're playing for fun we use secret characters. there's even a super secret guild of Three Rings players out there but I obviously can't say who!"

I suppose the 'Hide Prestige and/or badges" option will be implemented fairly soon now.

Having a super secret guild with alts that have completely unique prestige badges would be counter productive as people would still know you're staff and would bug you non-stop if you're in Haven. That may be the "public" staff guild, but probably not the private one where they go on to play without anybody knowing it's them.

You know what?

It's probably that one artifact for showing that you did something in the commuinity. OOO just made it so you could see it.

Dogrock isn't actually OOO staff.
