-When these people kept flicking a switch in Ironclaw Munitions Factory while the person on the other side was dead, I got kicked for saying "He's dead, he can't come over here. Do you not have eyes?"
-For using a Cold Iron Vanquisher in Firestorm Citadel
-I fought while the party leader was AFK in a Tier 1 mission helping Tier 1 players out and he kicked me because I fought while he was AFK but like a SECOND after that he sent me a friend request saying "Sorry" and invited me and I made a harsh message to him in whisper chat saying "stuff" and by the way it looked I think he knew that it was a no.
-For "taking" someone's heat and I told him that we share heat. He raged after that.

The other times it happens because the leader is a clone and I happen to use bombs competently and be doing better in the party than they are.

I've been kicked for joining a mission still in the lobby while wearing a costume (Heavenly Iron Helm, Ash Tail Coat, Vile Striker, 2* Plate Shield)
Most of the time I'm kicked because the leader forgot to lock the party and he wanted to solo, so he just kicks anyone who joins.

Forever long ago, like at least a year and a half ago, I was kicked from RJP for wearing a Wolver costume over my 4* set. Lead assumed I was actually wearing my wolver armor, and kicked without saying anything at all.
It wasn't until I whispered him did he tell me why he kicked me.

got kicked for being a noob. i soloed the rest, location: RJP, result: jk dies.
got kicked because some 5* pro guy said "i am not going with this low rank", the only thing i remember that i was flying... location: FSC (not hard to guess)
same day i owned vana for the first time, party was full 4*, the biggest source of DPS was strike needle, and i failed to freeze him most of the time -after phase 2, not really experienced on this fight-
i was about to get kicked because i was 2*, full bomber. he assumed that my bombs were weak just because they were 2*, and i had to use my T3 sword loadout... bombs: horribly OP fiery vaporizer (rly dis bomb ownz d whole r jay p), toxic vaporizer

Other than that, none that I can recall. I usually solo, and/or start my own parties, because more often than not I end up with a bunch of incompetents that think they're better than me, hence the constant asking 'rev noob'.

Most of the kicks where I know the reason seems to stem from people forgetting they can lock their parties. A couple from me taking too long to load. One kick in FSC where I was apparently taking a bit too long to get my knight up to the party button.
Not sure if I've been kicked for not tabbing. I've had party leaders ask for it, but I tended to go solo if they dawdled too long begging for a tab.
I don't think I've ever had a known kick for having lower star equipment or a costume making it seem so. Perhaps some of my unknown kicks were for that but nobody's actually made it clear.
Many kicks where I simply don't know. Players kicking often don't respond when you ask them why. =(

Story time
Once, I joined a random group heading into FSC. It doesn't take long before they all start speaking Russian. I don't speak Russian, so I just cruise along doing my normal thing. We're all good, everyone's 5* with area-appropriate gear, no one dies or causes any grief to the others. The three of them chat away throughout the run.
Then suddenly, as we go to get on the button at the beginning of Ashen Armory, they all stop and start talking. They say a lot. After about a minute of waiting, they all turn to look at me. One of them says "да," and the leader kicks me.
I maintain to this day that I was kicked by the Russian mafia.

-Not reviving but instead sitting on the leader's face.
-Bumping Snarby out of bell range while yelling, "Protect the wildlife"
-Hugging the monsters instead of fighting (people can't handle the love).
Sometimes I don't:
-Saying Candlestick Keep was not as difficult as people make it out to be.
-Telling our sexist leader that I am a girl.
-Using a Rigadoon for the challenge.
Most of the time, I'm kicked because I play Spiral Knights to have fun.

I could go on for ages....most of this stuff happened in the first 3ish months of release, and from then I adopted the previous said soloing.

I was heating up Ash Tail
I was heating up Ash Tail armor for Snarbolax as we were doing a Shadow Lair later that night, so I joined a random King of Ashes party. The leader noticed I had Ash Tail on instead of Vog, and I asked if it would be a problem and offered to switch to Vog, but I'd run it before joining him in Ash Tail without any problem. He kicked me for it anyway. :'3
I did realize that maybe it was unfair to join random parties since the hosts want to do their own thing which .. he apparently really wanted to just power through it. I made my own parties from that point forward.

My reasons
I got kicked because:
1. I ran without a shield in Firestorm Citadel (and I still do)
2. I occassionally shield bump enemies into other players which is why i prefer to go without a shield.
3. For wearing a "Beginner" costume.
4. For taking 4 star players into the "laggy" path in FSC because they all agreed on it.
5. For saying "I do no shield runs of FSC" to a party that thinks I would die.
6. For not accepting a trade from a "begger".
7. I use steam.

Yes I have gotten kicked many times examples:
1. One time I joined Cobalt's party with no weapons or shields just vial throwing....we got up 2 a group of boxes after a danger room he kicked me before we opened the boxes.
2. One time I joined Cootiecakes since she was begging me to do Fsc in full proto gear she kicked me since apparently that is not the right gear.
3. So one day I joined Repartee he kicked me since he did not like my costume
I can go on and on....
