Unkown Entity in Save Winterfest?

I decided to place a Bomb at the spot Impostoclaus teleports to at the end of the Winterfest mission (by the Emberlight presents) just as the mission ended for a laugh, but to my surprise I actually damaged an invisible enemy of some kind (somewhere near where the orphans open the presents)!

The invisible enemy probably has little-to-no damage resistance seeing how it took 431 damage from my DBB despite being neutral to Piercing, so I'm guessing we weren't meant to fight/see/know about whatever it is.

Anyone know what it could've been? I'll try to get a picture of it but with Winterfest coming to a close I might not have time.

A broken invisible devilite or a camo chromalisk tresspased the barrier somehow?
431 is a lot. Did you have max damage bonus?

Yes, but even with a Max

Yes, but even with a Max damage bonus AND an enemy weak to piercing I've never gone higher than 376 damage to a single enemy.

I've seen Grinchlin Stalkers teleport past the barrier before, but they wouldn't take anywhere near that much damage.

" to place a Bomb at the spot Impostoclaus teleports to at the end of the Winterfest mission"

Maybe the final impostoclaus isnt the same you see at the start or gets bugged during teleport.
What if he spawns as enemy and has weird resistances since he wasnt supposed to get hit anyways?

I am out of ideas.

@Little-Juances

That's probably the most likely result, given how the the damage numbers appear a little above and to the right of where he is, just like when regular enemies get hurt.

Of course, that raises an equally disturbing question... Who is this guy, and what happened to the real Impostoclaus?!

@Fallconn

I know that the Stalkers can get past the barriers (I've seen one attack Impostoclaus once) but as mentioned above the damage I did was too high for it to be a Stalker, plus if the thing I had damaged was a Stalker then it would've uncloaked when hit.

How could you

You hit one of the orphans.
Anyway, this one time I spammed VT charges near the gift pile near the end of the level and I was surprised to see that it inflicted shock on those little gremlins. I tried AoA and they caught fire as well..
I don't think you can kill them though
