Does the event really end at midnight PST? I haven't seen any messages for server restarts. Could an admin/GM answer this? Thank you.

Impostoclaus has decided to remain in Haven a bit longer than scheduled, so the Save Winterfest! mission is still available. Please note any Winter Wish tokens you earn today will expire when you log off (so spend them right away!).
Edit: They will also expire if you take a new mission.

You took away our Winter Wishes and you extended the event time by one day?
Care to explain why you took our Winter Wishes before the event ended?
Or is it because you want people to do bug mission and monitor the **** out of SK today since everyone is back from vacation??
I mean I had 100 tokens... why didn't you give a heads-up warning? Knowing the event would continue I would've kept them and use them for a frosty prize box rather than snowball... *sigh* oh well...
I think that's cool and uncool at the same time. It's cool the event stay... but it's fishy you took our Winter Wishes this morning... and no warning... hmmm oh well.

The winter wish tokens
The winter wish tokens displayed their expiration date and time. They all correctly expired at midnight January 3. The vendor and the mission still being available is not intentional and we've alerted the developers.

Decided to earn some tokens while grinding for some Humbug Hats and the information displayed is incorrect:
The Winterwishes expire as soon as you exit the mission. (or rather load a different level. The game checks your inventory and removes "expired" items.)
So yeah. How did OOO not see this coming anyway? Busy Holiday?

Yes, it looks like the tokens also expire when you start a new mission. We've done some quick testing, and you can return to Haven with the tokens and spend them, but if you take another mission they expire.

They probably plan to watch for anyone who can get boxes at this point, after tokens collected before today would have expired already and apparently all your tokens are deleted again if you try to repeat the repeatable mission, and instantly assume they must be taking advantage of the exploit. Unless you can somehow get two hundred tokens in a single run without the exploit.
I have a crazy idea. Not as crazy as some of my other ideas like combining helicopter birds into a giant robot with chainsaws, no; but almost as strange. Take the event down. The only point to continuing it without fixing the exploit is to find people who use the exploit who may have heard it from other people who used to do it but stopped now that you made it obvious what you are trying to do. With the event down it makes it awfully difficult for people to exploit something which is not in the game. Gosh golly gee. Tiddlywinks. The game. Tiddlywinks is a game. I thought I made it up but apparently it existed this whole time.

The description of the tokens say it ends now, 12:00 AM PST 4/1/2013, however the winterfest mission still exists. Derpppppp
