when i first got callahan i thought it was powerful but then i thought it is strong as 1 charge bullet of a blits so i got blitz so i dont use my callahan i would like to sell it but it would be a waste do you guys think it should be improved?

oh yea, those things, meh I guess it could be done, but OOO could also give that needed buff to the catalizer set.
Just make Callahan + Iron Slug shots pierce (as in bullets going through enemies) and it should be adequate.
Those guns are pretty much magnums after all and Magnum shots usually pierce.
Nick/Devs mentioned a while back that they had a plan to buff the Magnus series, but it was outside of their technical capabilities at the time.
Who knows when or if the Magnus line will ever get buffed.
Blitz was only ever considered bad because
- The rest of the line was meh
- The normal attack was rubbish
- No one knew of a situation where Blitz's rather conditional charge would be effective due to the long charge animation and vulnerability immediately after the attack
In fact people knew about the sheer burst damage, but it wasn't until they paired it with shiver did they feel safe using it on Vana, because if at any time Vana could attack, when he smashed his mace, the bits of the ceiling that fell down actually damaged, burned, stunned, and dropped shadowfire.
I'd just be happy to see the flinch/knockdown be made more consistent. When I'm solo, I can flinch-lock basically anything, but if I have even one other person with me nothing even bats an eye at it.

Another fact the Duke didn't mention is that 2011 was before the nerfpocalypse. That means you couldn't just take a step away from zombies/wolvers path and call it good, so Blitzing those mobs was really harder.
As for Vanaduke, it has also been nerfed to death. Before, it was way harder to Blitz him because of the roof, which actually did damage when it falls, which drastically reduced the "safe" period you could fire the Blitz (if you started to fire before you see the lights which indicated where roof would fall, you could get hit by it, so you had to wait for those to appear. And then, it was REALLY close to not get hit by Vana's next mace).
Oh, and there is the charge attack buff too. In 2011, any sneeze in your general direction would break the charge and you'd have to wait for the gun to full charge again.
But yeah, I second the Duke. Blitz is now obviously overpowered. Callahan is situational, with a little underpowered damage, mainly rendered useless because of all Blitz buffs and game nerfs.

In 2011, marine-SCV all-ins and Steppes of War were considered good too. Metagames change. Strategies evolve. OOO just needs to decide that they want to wait for the strategies to sort themselves out so that nothing is overpowered, or that everything is too horribly imbalanced to be fixed by strategy and start messing around with stuff. Callahan isn't underpowered, Blitz is just horribly overpowered.
