All 6 players will have this gear
Chaos set, Polaris or Supernova, Toothpick and 3 players will have a stagger storm and the other 3 Voltaic tempest, trinkets would be ones that reduce bomb time reduction (slot 1) and optional trinkets that increase sword damage. All will be strikers.
Good team strategy for guild LD or what?
I want your opinion cause I just thought of this and I want to see how it the community thinks of this idea.
Or you could just have 2 bombers spamming VT and shiver/haze at enemy base so they can't leave at all? while the others go guardian and shield the bombers when the enemies try to gun them down from inside, GF anyone that gets stuck just outside the barriers/sit there.
"Chaos set"
NOOOPE
Voltaic Tempest, Shiver, Flourish, Gran Faust... every single tool of most LD players will just tear you apart except maybe the Hammer.
With no heart pendants, a good gunner will tear you apart.
Pulsars, regardless of type, are still easily dodged (they're mostly used for discouraging charging at an enemy) and Polaris is often preferable for increased damage and chance of inflicting shock.
Toothpick is nice, but without a high damage nuke weapon (like GF) you'll only do well at suppression and not actual fragging.
What I've seen EoS do in GLD is pair off a Guardian VT bomber with a GF Striker. Enemy tries to sword Guardian, gets shocked. Enemy tries to gun, Striker comes in for a nuke attack. Enemy gets shocked and tries to run, GF striker chases them and punishes them. Enemy runs? They're not capping, so? So far, that's the most absurdly effective two-man cap hold I've seen.
While it's a rather sad truth, Heart Pendants are more or less mandatory if you wish to survive more than one or two sword swings.
Also, if you have Voltaic, an Antigua is often more useful for punishing shocked enemies.
If you're wearing chaos set, a single polaris shot would likely shock you and leave you exposed for death.
The bombs are only for slowing enemies down and the guns are for murdering peeps who are very slow and the flourish is for if your partner dies. Also your main option is to dodge, dodge and dodge. I chose chaos set because you have all weapon types and if you follow this game tac you shouldn't even get hit at all. So basically those cons to it are pointless.
In GvG, you're up against the best of the best. They'll dodge just as much as you, and if you're going bomber, you'll be slower than the average strikers while charging. You'll also get OHKO'd by GF's, so all they got to do is charge in with shock or stun immunity (Mercurial or Ice Queen), smack you once with a GF and boom, man down.
Also... Your counter to poor defenses is "You shouldn't be getting hit to begin with"? That's a terrible excuse. Theoretically you should NEVER get hit, but there is always someone faster/better than you, and you WILL meet them in GvG.
Woah. Take a chill pill man. Give constructive critisims please. And btw, how about instead of chaos set volcanic demo? How does that sound?
Also you I'm choosing to make up this tac because I don't want to use the mainstream "be a clone and murder" tac. I want something different.
Everyone will be grouped into pairs, each pair will have one stagger and one voltaic. The trinks and chaos set should negate the CTI and give a CTR med for bombs. The 2 will stick together and they will charge at all the points. Once close at the points the pair should start charging up their bombs and "dance" around the cp. if there are enemies they should chain bombs around them therefore if the statuses are inflicted on these enemies they should spam the pulsars to murder them since they can't run. The toothpicks in the mean time should only be used if your partner happens to die and you should hold of the enemies until your partner arrives.
