Mad skills. Good game guys, we all just lost.
Your max damage in LD new post
Feller, you insult Xairathan by using the Female gender as an insult.
Bad Feller. Very Bad.
@Icegill:
"Since when do people sit down and strategize in RLD. I have played so much LD and I have yet to see a team do this."
It's funny, because when I was playing LD back in T2 around two years back, I actually bothered to try and organize the team. Mostly just asking the team to co-operate with me to try and co-ordinate themselves better, and people agreed more often than you'd think.
The basics were:
-Outline the basic plan. E.g: "Two members to each CP. Once capped, guard it until further notice."
-After a CP is captured, announce that the CP is secured so the team can move forward.
-Allied teammates MUST call for assistance. If their assigned CP is being captured, inform the team before it's capped. The few seconds ahead help.
-When informing the team of compromised CPs, tell the size of the threat. Enemy numbers, class type the like.
From there, I more or less organized who to change to what classes to coordinate their attacks at whichever CP. Basic strategy was to get at least one Guardian+Striker team to te CP. Guardian's primary objective was to cover the Striker while the Striker attacked.
Of course, strategies would change depending on the situation at hand. Three enemy Guardians on the same CP, I would probably call for two Recons and two Strikers. If not possible, then one Guardian and a Recon and a Striker. Really, you have to take the team size into account as well.
If the enemy was capping the CP's close to our bases, obvious choice would be to get the team to Recon and back-cap. At the very least, that'll provide a distraction, and after the enemy-cloud disperses, everyone can get back to their jobs.
I wasn't so much directing the team as I was providing advice every now and again. No way I could type fast enough to actually direct everything. The key is the basics; informing the team. From there, the other team members could decide to move from their CPs to intercept the enemy or w/e.
It was fun, for a while. I always asked if the Team would mind me doing that, and the general response was 'Eh, go nuts.'
When I got to T3, everyone just told me to stop telling them what to do when I asked. It was a little annoying, but you really can't blame them.
@Psycho -
1. LD did not exist 2 years ago.
2. Reason why I say it now is because I do mostly play T3. And the objective for some is just to kill.
3. Fun fact; Guild LD is mostly depended on strategy, yet, only 3-4 guilds have figured this out.
And good job trying to organize, at least you try. Some people just let the team lose or leave the game, lol.
"LD did not exist 2 years ago."
Oh, foo, I meant 1. I was thinking of my overall playtime >.>
"And the objective for some is just to kill."
Most* actually. Sometimes I wonder why I bother talking about CPs anymore.
Also, Tried*. Not many people like to listen nowadays, they like to think they can handle themselves and shouldn't have someone suggesting to them what to do.
Sad, really. Teamplay, but not many people even bother to try.
As well as we can't respect diferent opinions, almost EVERY THREAD BASED ON LD is a CHAOS, there could be a place to put LD threads - making general discussion less chaotic. A forum called Coliseum...
Okies I think the only way we can see who the best is in this contest is for you all to pull down your pants and start measuring yourselves best of luck!! <69

I don't know how you guys get over 30k.
I don't think i've ever been that determined to get damage for the sake of getting damage. Do you guys revive?
I have a SS of a 26k in proto w/ faust only somewhere. I'll try to find it
by the way, dawg. Redblades 333818 - [guildless]
333818
I should be on the top of that list.
I should be like right under bacon and ruby's 1 mil damage.
Oh, come on. There's no "Max time distracting five guys on the far point"? That's what I do! (Or at least try to do.) Then again, that's kinda tough to prove without a video... and video recording software lags up my computer.
That said, I think I got like 15000 a few times in the days of the old RSS. Good times, good times.
I would like to take this opportunity to mention the awesome damage of my humble ex-guildmate. All you so-called LD pros: it doesn't matter how much anti-aliasing you use, how many fire pots you throw at your enemy or how much coffee you drink sitting on the street by the building where servers are placed to get a better connection.. you'll never beat this:

I demand including this score in the list above.
