Actually, I often put a bid price at 9001 which works a surprising amount of time.

The fact that the price is at 69 is not likely to influence my decision to purchase something. What will influence it is how cheap the price actually is. Besides, I think there's enough of that number to go around for now. One would think the guild I'm in is Echo of Silence because we have 69 of practically every material in our guild treasury. You'd be surprised how many times someone makes a donation of that amount, too.

Yup. I also do the same thing.
add a 1 crown to it for its randomness or sometimes, i do a random number generator. so instead of bidof 4000 crowns. I do 4,242 crowns. or 1,001.
and... on the merchants side
every item i put a non-convential price to it, its bought.

This does not make sense? It's like saying. If CE was at 6900 for 100 would you spend all your money on ce? No
