Now, I know Benightz started a poll about have you been kicked before here , so I am making a poll about if you have kicked anyone before.

I kicked someone for...

Killing a mewkat
Being a noob
For AFKing for the rest of his life
For trying to lead us to our deaths
For being underequipped

A few times for excessive AFK, I usually go solo instead even if I'm the leader.

I've kicked people

I've kicked people for:

offensive chat towards other party members
sending a tell asking for another member to be kicked (based solely on their costume)
demanding to be tabbed and threatening not to get on a party button without being tabbed
yelling "rev me" over and over and over after dying in a far away room on D25 of a vana run
randomly afking without notice (after waiting until the rest of the party becomes restless)
afking significantly longer than they stated
being way too under prepared for the difficulty of the mission
being extremely annoying
openly admitting they weren't going all the way to the end of the mission

I've been playing for a long time so I'm sure there's a few more reasons I've kicked people...

I kicked people for some unfair and fair reasons.

-A member thinks he was captain and he bossed us around. He told us we needed to give everything. So I kicked him out.
-Bad grammar :/
-Spamming
-Not English
-Begging
-Kicked member because I forgot to lock the party XD
-For breaking the rules
-Trolling
-Swearing at me for no reason or I would call it "Cussing"
-He annoyed me enough, so I kicked him
-Hammer booted me out of the Arsenal
-Calling me a noob
-His costume was proto, so I kicked him because it was not cool :D
-Threats

And it's ok if you put this poll. I give permission to. =)

Just link my old poll thread

These are my only reasons for kicking

1. Constant and excessive AFK
2. Insulting me/other people. (unless they are retaliating)
3. Refusing to get onto the elevator until they are tabbed.
4. Being a jerk (them, not me)

I don't think I've ever

I don't think I've ever kicked anyone.

To be honest, I don't think killing a Mewkat is a legitimate reason to kick anyone even though the description says "A cute little harmless Kat. As much as you may provoke it, this tiny Kat will never lose its cool. Ask yourself, are a few crowns really worth killing this peaceful little thing?"

That would be like me thinking Gremlins are cute and someone killed a gremlin and I kicked them but if you kick them for that then I don't have a problem with it, it's just my opinion.

I think any thing in the Kat family is ugly, I don't think they're cute like most people do.

It's just my opinion or your reason, I'm not mad at anything, or I'm not saying that you shouldn't kick them for that anymore.

The papaya can't kick...........papayas don't have feet, or legs

Fine, I sometimes kick the occasional player who ends up being unresponsive for 20 minutes................But I always send an email (spiral-mail) apologizing. If I come across a party I'm unhappy with, I usually leave the party, and then tell the other members (who are also unhappy with it) to leave and make a new one.............That way, everyone's happy ^^

I kick

When the entire party asks me to kick this guy and if they can give a good reason to (I usually don't accept "but he's a noob!")
)
Also I don't kick proto noobs because I believe that NO ONE would join our ranks if no one would help the newbies. Also that would mean more people would lose interest in the game and BOOM! OOO goes bankrupt and can't manage SK because no new players are coming in. Let us be kind to the newbies.

I only kick if the player in question is being one of those "I can do this! Believe in me!" Hero-types while letting us stay on the floor dead because he couldn't NOT keep his attack-spamming enemies away from us.

Also if said player keeps begging for w/e, even if asked to stop, and if they start blaming everyone for everything.

Them totally sucking I don't mind as long as they admit it and aren't being a bucket about it. "Omg lag" every three seconds and whatnot.

If you're going to say lag then at least make sure you're actually lagging >.>...

As far as my record goes, I don't think I've breached 5 in terms of players kicked.

Processing Thoughts of You Always

Three times. Twice was because someone was AFK for an extended period of time, and we had a time limit. The third time was because someone was being an idiot and insisting I tab him for an entire RJP run because we are so incompetent we need him to help out in order to survive (this being a guy in 3/4* gear).

Generally I try not to kick people.

Killjoy. I bet you're the kind of person who would object to 'Zaffy is Laffy' and 'What Dark Ritual?' as well.

oh wait

Although I totally understand the feeling there; it's highly irritating when someone insists on reviving themselves 2 seconds after they die, when the rest of the party is perfectly fine, and then begging for tab plz afterwards because they managed to waste all their mist.

One other reason that I kick

I kick people who join a mission lobby and expect to be tabbed the whole way. Without payment. Just a random who rolls on in. In my opinion that is really rude, so I kick them.

Really Bata, no one cares but you >.> Stop trying to pick a fight over something that doesn't matter in the slightest. It's not in anyone's way, it's not affecting anything in any way; it really doesn't matter what's put there.

I've said it before: Your posts whinging about so called 'spam' are more spamlike than the accused. Hypocrisy at it's finest.

This is totally not spam. Nope. Nuh-uh. Not at all.

I see so many people here saying they kick people because they're AFK. I just don't get that. I mean, we may not have been a really famous or well-known guild when we were still around, but I still don't think that's a good reason for kicking! Unless it was Faspecter. Then it's fine.

Usenet convention defines spamming as excessive multiple posting, that is, the repeated posting of a message (or substantially similar messages)

The same concept is true for forums.

Seriously, you can hardly call people annoying when you do exactly the same thing. Not to mention that it's no different than saying 'Hi' to everyone.

Not to mention you're changing your definitions again:

"Nope. Spam is the use of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited bulk messages, especially advertising, indiscriminately."

"(or substantially similar messages)"

You denied your posts were spam because "[You are] not sending random ads to people." You contradict yourself by defining it as otherwise.

Also you said "I'm not flooding threads with gibberish." You in fact, are by whining like some child over the fact that not everything goes your way, specifically what people put in their posts.

And I'm pretty sure whinging at people for posting farewell threads multiple times, whining about why people use signatures and personal catchphrases for no other reason than the apparent fact that it discomfort your eyes, considering that such statements can be grouped together under a specific topic (each) qualifies as spam, moreso than saying the same phrase over and over in a place where frankly no-one but you gives a damn.

Stop shooting yourself in the foot.

this subject line brought to you by Batabii and the Jelly King

While we are at it, isn't it against the rules to derail threads with silly notions like "ermahgerd sterp spamming der serbjerct lerns"

Also, Batabii, you repeat yourself when asking people not to use the subject line as "spam". Technically, aren't you repeating the same message over and over again?

This is a useless fight, Larry boy. Give it a rest. Not only does it hinder your reputation further on the forums, but it makes you sound like a petulant child.

Now, back on topic. I don't recall ever being kicked from a party, but I have kicked players from a party for begging.

Yes, Larryboy, you're fighting a losing battle against everyone on the forums who gives fewer than a single [fecal matter] about what other people put in the subject line of their posts that are posts by them that are not posts by you and that are posts belonging to them and not you and also are not your posts. Cover it with a tape (cassette, not Scotch) or maybe a piece of paper if you must. It's not our job to cater to your wants.

uuh...

Have I been too kind?

I've never kicked anyone unless this happened:

- Spamming "Go!" so much that I can't see my guildies' messages. Games were made to kill time, right?

- Anyone being elitist, racist, sexist, etc.

- Anyone I personally deem annoying/inconsiderate/who-is-a-jerk to fellow party members.

- People who "sped through the whole game without knowing what they were doing".

- Pay-to-play players who brag about their equips, and then die by an attack because of their lack of experience.

"It said "especially", not "only". That doesn't mean advertising is a requirement."

I love how you conveniently and subtly shift your arguments to suit your needs. You clearly used the fact that it's not advertising as your main point to prove that your posts 'were not spam', considering that it was the only thing that supported your notion that your posts were "not flooding threads with gibberish", which is ironic, considering that's exactly what they are doing, as opposed to Signatures and catchphrases, which are confined to the post they were made in that posts messages relevant to the topic, add to the discussion, and really only get in your imaginary way.

So considering that, here they are again.

Similar messages that are being posted in several different threads with material not relevant to the subject at hand and not adding anything of value to the subject at hand and therefore cluttering the thread, annoying people and wasting people's time.

Spam.

But, I would be more than happy to introduce to you guys sites specifically built for such arguments.

^Not that you need it. Just say if you want it.

So, with that out of my mind...

I've been kicked on several occasions because I wear under-tier equipments to FSC. I just want crowns T^T. I have also been kicked for wanting to go challenge bosses, despite the team's protests (but selling those token weapons nets you an extra 3.5k crowns). I have ALSO been kicked for the lulz of it. I'm sorry to have to break this to you, but this is not Usenet. You can't just apply any rule anywhere (quite frankly, I fail miserably at seeing the logic right there). Stick with the appropriate sections in the Terms Of Service.

I like giving people a chance.
And if i do that super rare extinct Kick button, i also do a long apology.

I dont kick ppl, due that they got potential.

When all my gear was just 4*, i used to get kicked alot at FSC terminal due that i wasnt pro enough. Still hate that guy. Anyway, i could do FSC in Miracle Cloak and a Blight Needle, yet i never had a chance to prove it.

I have met 3*s who have joined me and can kick butt in FSC. thats why i never ever kick some one due to their gear.

(best bomber i knew had 3* freeze bomb and could freeze Vana in 3rd stage.)
