If all the crowns EVERYBODY (and i mean EVERYBODY) in the game went into ONE person, who would it be and why? It doesn't have to be you. What do you think?
All the Crowns into One Person
Oh luguiru how you manage to take the fun out of any post in just a few sentences.
+1 to you good sir
Me, of course (Acid-Snow, technically). I'd buy lots of recipes, materials, and crystal energy and do a bit of gambling with Punch. Then I might buy a couple crests, and a few rares (Darkfang Shield, etc). I wouldn't let the market come back that quickly though.
It'd be interesting to see how big SK's gotten. If the max value for one's crowns is 2^31 - 1 (if it is a... signed int, if I remember my primitives right), I'd certainly be well over, but what if it is 2^63 - 1? Would I be over?
2^31 is 2,147,483,648.
Are there even any billionaires in Spiral Knights? A million crowns isn't that hard to get, but a billion? Possible, yes, but has it been done?
@OP
To answer your question though, if all of the crowns and earthly things in the game went to one player- not developer- then that player would have to be some sort of guild master, with a large amount of influence. The only other way I can see this happening would be through some sort of glitch in the energy system. If such a thing were to occur, it would be plausible for one player to gain a bulk of the crowns.
Before that happens I'd invest in CE or at least random 1* gear in bazzar so no one will get my crowns :(
I thought about that awhile back, Like if everyone in SK gave one knight 1 crown each.
@Fehzor
I saw a screenie of Nj with 1.4 mil CE which is about 1 billion cr.
All the crowns should go to Swiss-Bank-Account. That way, I know all my crowns are safe.
P.s. Is there anyone named Swiss-Bank-Account as of this post? No? Huhu, I know what my next character's name will be :3
@Tennis
1.4 mil CE is 100m not 1b btw :P
Derp, sorry. I knew it sounded a bit odd. Still a lot of money though. :P
No one.
Whoever gets it will be subjected to constant harassment from crown hungry merchants, beggars, Punch, and past friends who quickly become aggressive. It would also mean the majority of players who are now suddenly poor will quit for being stolen from. Sure, that person would be wealthy, but if all those crowns were to suddenly disappear from the market everything would drastically drop in price. Anyone who wants to sell anything will have to sell their precious wing-glowy-laser-walrus-underpants accessories/costumes/hats for pennies instead of the millions they used to expect. So there goes all the merchants. Softcore players will enjoy the lack of market butt pinching going on for a while and eventually recreate the whole thing within a week or two and all those crowns given to some random player in the beginning will eventually dissipate into sinks, be traded to other players for whatever shinies that individual wants, and everything will return to normal.
Like that CE market glitch where someone was buying CE for millions per hundred, people abused it, Three Rings said they were going to "fix" it, then they just told everyone to shut up about it. Market went back to normal eventually. Some players walk away with dirty money and never get their tails tugged. No matter who gets the money it ends up the same way.
