Hey all!

I've been out of game for a while, and felt that it'd still be nice for me to do some stuff to keep my 3D modeling skills in-shape.
From the start: I am a whiz at Autodesk Inventor, a 3D modeling software, and can model Spiral Knights weapons in there in a jiffy. Though I eventually plan to model ALL of the weapons, I currently only have (semi-completed) 5* elemental brandishes and the 2* troika (yes, the same sheet I used in Tdlob-Forum's Troika Design competition)
Cutting to the chase, be it Guns, Swords, or Bombs, I would love to do 3D models of commissions for either peoples' favorite weapons, or for custom weapons (given you provide me with adequate descriptions.) The models will be shared as both images and as .STL files online, so anyone with a 3D printer can access and make plastic prototypes.

Note, these are COMMISSIONS. AKA, COSTS STUFF. I am NOT a nice person, and will NOT tolerate any begging, scamming, or flaming. (I will report you faster than you can charge a brandish. Just try me.)

My pricing and payment system is as follows:

Standard Weapon/Shield, 250 CE,
Standard Armor/Helmet (1 piece), 350 CE (I have making armor with a passion...)
Custom Weapon/Shield, 450 CE
Custom Armor/Helmet, 600 CE (Still hating it)

Add 100 CE per accessory for adding accessories to armor/helmets/shields/weapons
Special Deal: 1000 CE for a full set of Armor + Helmet + Sword + Shield, in different poses, with lightly-done background. (will post a sample as soon as completed) Knight not included; I hate modeling organic figures >.<

Payment:

I don't expect someone to send me tons of CE, since they'd probably expect me to just take it and leave. MY payment style is simple and requires trust from both sides.

1. Post on this thread with a request, and wait for my direct response AND ingame PM (so provide a legitimate Knight name). If it does not come, I did not see your request. I will include an estimate of time required to complete the request in my response.
2. Respond to my message by mailing me 100 CE of the agreed pricing.
3. I will send a "Work In Progress" screencaps notification through PM, and post image links on this thread. If you receive a message about it, check here.
4. Respond to my message and mail me the rest of the CE.
5. I will respond with a "Work Completed!" and provide a secure password in the message, and have a link up here for everyone to click, but for only YOU to be able to access.

Note that the reason I am including the Work in Progress before I get the complete payment is to reassure you that I will not hop out on the request; It makes no sense for me to leave a project after the bulk of the modeling (which is the hardest part) is done.

Suggestions to the payment process are acceptable, and prices may or may not be negotiable (If you'd like to send items/crowns instead of CE, that may be agreeable but only if specifically acknowledged by me)

I offer a discount to already-made commissions, and will provide the password for 50 CE upon request, but only to the specific user. Please do not try to share these, or I will change them, get mad at you, and leave you all unable to continue to access them.

I have some questions.

My guild is trying to make a fangame. A large part of it will be out in the open for the rest of the community to see. If I am to request a full knight for concepts, how much would it cost, and could I download the model? If so, could I get the model/s in some format that would let me open it with Blender? Could I display these images with others? You say "Please do not try to share these, or I will change them, get mad at you, and leave you all unable to continue to access them." Does that mean I can't display anything to the rest of my team? Or does that just mean the passwords?

STL

As I mentioned, the models will be saved as STL files. I am not sure if STL's can be opened with Blender specifically, but I know that most animation softwares (Autodesk 3DS Max, Autodesk Maya, C4D) can import STL files (without textures, unfortunately.)

These models could be used theoretically in game design, however:
1) If you plan to use them, I would revise my sharing rules. If it's for a guild project, you'd obviously need to spread the files around; Since I'm not that stingy, just make sure to pay credit where credit is due.
2) You would need to retexture them, or else have me texture them in Maya. However, I'd rather not do this, and would definitely charge some fee for doing this. We can discuss the specifics of that later.

A full knight of concepts: I never actually put that up there (the 1000CE deal was intended for actual/ingame armor/weapons.)

I suppose 1500 CE sounds like a legitimate deal for a full custom set (Helmet, Armor, Shield, and 1 Weapon.)
Any additional items cost as listed above.

Model

Hey! I've saved up some cr and think I can get you 250 ce. Does Divine Avenger count as Standard? :P
(Sorry if I don't have enough and are wasting your time. I haven't checked on the recent pricing. The ce used to be 4k...it changed to 5k, 6k, 7k, I've even seen 10k for 100 ce before :/)
I'm begining 3ds max and need some things to do. :D

I just finished my reprap

I just finished my reprap and, I may be inquiring about models soon. I CAD as well but I'm feeling lazy. May I see some of your work; a link to a screenshot maybe? It doesn't need to be of SK stuff.

Also, if you'd be interested, I wouldn't mind working with you on modular SK body parts for printing. Just a thought. And though my preference is ProE, if we're working with .stl that doesn't really matter. Maybe you already have something done in terms of that.
