Greetings, everyone who reads this "something with nothing based on bad knowledge of English".

I got this idea for a long time and actually it's most likely in my head as a part of Core Opening event idea, which I maybe post later(or not, because Core will be sealed FOREVER), but after some thoughs I think it can be stand-alone idea as well.

So here's the point - I guess lot of SK veterans already did Shadow Lair at least once. Lots of peoples may think it's good, or maybe bad - there's lot of points that can be hard, laggy, buggy and such. But I guess everyone can say - Unknown Passage is most amazing thing in any SL run. At least for me. And actually... for me it's the main reason why I wanna investigate SL again and again, catching every chance to run in this dark place.

Point of the event - in some moment, Clockworks depths out of Shadow Lair been investigated with Void levels. Like it's been in SK Birthday event, we can have random arenas with Void monsters... or even better - "no-energy-pay" elevators on Unknown level there you gonna go through army of Void monsters with main point to survive, as it is in usual Unknown Passage. At the end - something unusual(some event tokens or rare material) thing and elevator on next Clockwork level.

Also - prestige mission, there knights must investigate Swarm zone that showed up just in the middle of the level you need to go through. This level can be combined with both usual and Void monsters, have random theme(gremlins, beasts etc.) and random reward.

If there's gonna be tokens - it can be pretty much good idea to sell shadow accessories for those(which is, in some point, can make them cheaper and bit less rare as they're right now). If materials - you can make some new weapons or furniture, which is also can be pretty good. Event-related stuff is always looks good(I like scarves and mewkat masks, lol) and pretty much welcome, I guess.

But - there's must be some things that don't let everything take a part in event. As long as we talk about Void and SL, I guess that Unknown levels/arenas must start to show up not earlier but after Tier 2 Terminal, to most likely lock the access to everyone who has equipment weaker than 3*. It's pretty logical in my opinion - Void is pretty danger, so there's no way that new players with 0*-2* can investigate what is actually would be in depths of Shadow Lair. Same with mission - it must be avaliable only to knights who have access to danger missions, and should give good amount of prestige with limit 1 mission per day.

It can be good to make event 1 or 2 weeks long, and not connect it to some date, like "it's gonna happer every year in current date". Also, after full-leght event it can be nice as well to randomly put Void levels in Clockworks on 2-3 days in random days. I guess it can be pretty fun.

Feel free to comment and ask questions if something is hardly understandable. I'll do my best in explaining the things I hold in my mind. As long as I feel it a good idea to realise(and I gonna feel upset if I never gonna see at least a thread about idea of such event).

I'm pretty sure we should still limit the swarm to end game players.

Basically you are just gonna introduce the same content for vet players, into the newer players. Problem is, will the newer players comprehend to this? My main issue is having newer players complaining on the forums saying it's too hard or something. Scaling down their damage and health etc. may not deal much difference.

Yes, we are talking about em' inexperienced players, who are gonna spam their flourishes at swarm turrets. Then they go complain on the forums saying :
Hey guise, why can't i kill the dark rocket puppiez D:

I'm really not sure how you are gonna integrate that content to the lower-tiers.

@Zaffy-Laffy

That's a good point.

But in other hand, it can make more of interest to Shadow Lair as well. Game Wiki actually contains info about Swarm Turret and Swarm Seed, and peoples who don't check Wiki is rarely holds in the game because they can't understand how the game works even with starting missions that learns you with basics. Also, yeah, this content is most likely for veterans. Unknown Passage is fun not because it's thing that you can rarely reach, but because it's real challenge, so veterans surely gonna love to take 2 or 3 runs in Unknown to take some fun from trying to survive and also get some reward.
It can be good training for 3* and 4* players. I went my first few times in SL with 4* armor and died a lot, especially in Unknown Passage. And yeah, I met the problem that "i cant kill the dark rocket puppiez D:", and only bit later I talked with peoples with who I went in SL and they told me that there's lot of enemies that I can't kill or they have some different resistance from what I actually know... and before my next run it's been a good point to check Swarm enemies and remember, that I can't kill turrets, they proc are slow and deals lots of normal damage, and seeds can stun me and have elemental resist.

Also, balancing Void monsters is another thing, but first things first - right now I wanna know how people feels about that idea.

We can look on this event from different angles, but it can be good to give a chance for some peoples to see the Void monsters little earlier than SL, and let veterans to take their reward for how awesome they should be.

Maybe a danger mission, since those are suppsoed to be a challange for experienced players.
Besides with free elvator, token rewards all the other stuff I think you're asking too much.

You also have to connect it to the story, why would the swarm appear on a single random level, at a random date, away from the core?
Shadow Lairs lead right next to the sanctuary. And there the swarm is in a constant battle to gain control.
Background stories are a must to enrichen the game.

I agree that the Unknown

I agree that the Unknown Passage is a gem not many people get to see, the eerie effects & monsters, shaking level & map static all help create the feel that something very nasty wants you dead.

A Swarm-themed level outside of Shadow Lairs would probably work better as a Danger mission though.

Nicely, yep-

Why hello there~ your idea is quite good and similar to one y had a while ago, which I revised then later but never took off much! I support yours too, of course!
