Best Use of a Poison Max Wolver Cap

I have been laughed upon by the UV gods and gifted a Poison Max Wolver Cap. I can't sell it because I haven't met anyone willing to buy it and I don't want to risk underpricing it on the AH. I saw a Poison high sell for about 88K, and I think that's a bit unlikely for me to expect if I sold mine.

Since I already have a Snarbolax armor set, that only leaves me with the options of making a Skolver or Vog Cub set.
I've been told it would make a really good complimentary UV for Vog in the C42 danger mission, but I'm still not sure.
I think I receive more piercing damage there instead of elemental.

So which set should I make to maximize the potential of my Max Poison UV wolver cap?
Or is making another Snarby Cap an option too since it already has Poison high on it?

(Or if anyone wants it, I'm willing to haggle also; I just need a price check on the darn thing)

Before choosing, think, would you use a vog cap for regular clockworking?
Some people always use skolver/snarby even on elemental levels due to damage bonus.

if you are like that with your snarby and happy with it then just pick skolver.

I agree it would be useful as a Vog for C42 as well.
I think having poison/fire resistance is more important than the piercing but you could pair it with a Dragon Scale too.

Indeed, on Vog Cub for C42 it

Indeed, on Vog Cub for C42 it would not be wasted. Vog Cub is used there mainly for the fire resist. Better yet : if you get a low fire UV on the other part (or a trinket), you get immune to oilers fire and wisps, which is invaluable.

The other option of Snarbolax is not to dismiss : if you wear full Snarby with that UV, you get poison immune to oilers and wisps. Again, in C42 that's great to have : things will die about twice as fast because you won't get poisonned. But Snarbolax in C42 have the drawback of not protecting well against all those pure piercing/elemental damage.

On another thread, Flowchart argued that normal is more important than piercing/elemental (when comparing Fallen to Dragon Scale).

I can't see any other significant use of that UV.

NOOOO!!!!!

xD sorry just want to put in my two cents.

Anyways, make it into a snarby cap.

"Why Max posion Snarby? it already has posion!"

That is percicely why you should. the posion on a snarby cap, plus a max posion uv would give you immunity to the venom veiler, combined with a skolver coat give immunity to shivermist buster as well. also shadow/posion seems to be more of thing than elemental or peircing/posion. while a vog would give asi and be useful for C42 (which comes once every 4 days) snarby would give a damage bonus and would be useful for the snarby shadow lair, avaible every time you have a key, and fiend or undead themed stratums with posion, or even posion themed stratums with fiends or undead!

While I wouldn't mind a posion max vog, i much prefer it on a snarby.

>> Bella-donna - I see where

>> Bella-donna - I see where you are going with the whole Poison immuniity, but since I hardly play PvP, I also have reason to believe that there aren't that many T3 bombers spamming Venom Veilers. I already have a Snarby coat, so having a the fire resists on the Vog Cap would be fine just by me I think.

Although I do wonder how big that poison bar stat resist would look on Snarby. >W<

The only time I've seen a VV in Lockdown was when I was drafted into GLD matches against the Jempire. I can never remember the bomber's name, but I will always remember the Stagger + VV combo... Poison in general is a really underrated status, but you need a buddy to really make it worthwhile. When poisoned, their damage will almost be halved, to the point of almost being laughable (I never figured out if you did more damage against a poisoned knight... I know you do more damage vs a poisoned enemy, but idk about knights). I haven't done GLD in a long while, especially not against the Jemps, but I remember the last time I fought em, there was a Gunslinger who would constantly weave within the Stagger and VV mists, harassing anyone trying to interrupt the bomber...

But this is completely off topic! I'd say either Vog for Compound 42, or Skolver/Snarby for Rabid Snarbolax runs.

Snarby cap has high poison defence (3 points) max grants you 4 extra. So with that you get instant Venom Veiler immunity in lockdown.
However in clockworks it's not that great, you need 9 points to get wisp immunity. Lacking 2 points.
