Nick has mentioned that all sprites have some form of basic attacking ability.
He also said specifically that Blast Network would not involve battle sprites.
That sort of vaguely hints at the possibility of a sprite-using PvP mode, a la Pokemon.
I might be wrong, though.

I would love it if I could make a pet duel another eheheh. I seriously would be sooo addicted to the game, also if I could customize my pets too. o my god, I better not get into details or i will kill myself with writing *_*. (gota catch em all!) XD
No one amde a proper suggestion yet, but if you read discussions, there are some comments about it.
Thing is we don't know how they are yet. The offensive dragon one might totally pwn the others on a fight.
