Prior to the avatars showing

Prior to the avatars showing up, you were able to see that info in the "My Account" page.
Since that's no longer there, the best way to get an exact date would be to send an email/ticket to support

You can find the date that you validated your email from logging into the wiki and clicking "My Preferences" and scrolling to the bottom. This isn't always the day you started though.
If your account was made through steam then your not going to be able to see the wiki info since you can't log in to it- but you could go by the date you unlocked your first achievement for an estimate.

huh? and shortcut

Why can't you read it? It is simply a list of all of the users' names, in alphabetical order. (I think that it includes only users registered through spiralknights.com, though --- no Steam, Kongregate, etc.) You scroll through it, to find yours. But this can take a while, even viewing them 500 at a time. Here's a shortcut. Enter this address...

http://wiki.spiralknights.com/index.php?title=Special:ListUsers&offset=012leaf

...into the URL bar of your web browser. Replace the user name "012leaf" with your username, and load that page. Then click "previous 50". Your user name should be at the bottom of the resulting page, with its creation date.

@SoftIncorrect, because I,

@Soft

Incorrect, because I, as well as a good amount of the population, didn't find out about the forums until a bit after they made their character. I know I joined sometime in January, but it says March, because I didn't find out about the forums until months after.

Sooo.... yeahhh.

something's funny

Artistbma, something is funny here. The procedure that I outlined above gives a date that closely matches when I created my account on www.spiralknights.com and started playing. My forums preferences give a date about 5.5 weeks later, which would be about when I discovered the forums.

Also, I don't see why a wiki special page would be summarizing info from the forums. The two seem to be pretty disconnected, in the way that Three Rings have set things up.

So, no, I do not think that the procedure gives the forum start date. And you don't think that it gives the play start date. I wonder what the date means then?

I know I joined the forums and made my first post in March, two months after I made my character and started playing it.
