I loved it, in Beta, and it was an amazing thing, I would love to have it come back.
Maybe not the 'full' fledged Power Surge weekend, as in like lotteries every hour or something like that. BUT i would love for the gates to be lowered in energy just a little.

This would ruin the distribution of player levels, because all those newbies would suddenly find a way to jump all the way up. Not only would this mess up the economy, it would be horribly annoying to players like me who do not enjoy gaming for hours on end. Such a weekend indirectly would force you to game like a maniac, or majorly miss out.
A reference to another browser mmo would be Runescape. Their double exp weekends imbalanced the economy for weeks afterwards, and made many of their veteran players quit.
A better idea I think would be to give new players half priced elevators for 1 day, which would allow them to escape grinding with their starting armor. That would solve a lot of problems.
I agree that the problem is new players having a hard time getting a foothold.
That said, if the price of crowns continues to rise to the point where a F2P player can't sustain themself, things may get unpleasant. Or at the very least, lonely.
That's a good idea dragon, I don't think a F2P like SK should attract only people willing, or even able to pay ( I myself can't pay at all ). Even with the ce price at 2,5k at the 1st week I had to chain a lot of T1 runs to get the 2* set and i felt great when I went to T2 for the 1st time, but with prices like right now, new players would have to play for a month at least, with only 1 run per day, to get to T2 and I don't think anyone would do that ( saying this for all the people that keep on telling that there is absolutely no problem right now, just see the others posts complaining about mist energy ).
Doesn't the free mist tank on day 1 essentially do the same thing, Dragon?
Wow right now I'm thinking that a power surge w-e would be great for us too o_O 5k per 100ce is a little bit too much seeing how i need to use 75 to 105 energy on a jk with a random party, and only earn about 6k max. Farming for 1h to 1h30 for only 1k more than before ... Can't the ce sellers be a little less greedy and the buyers less impatient ? I remember people saying they were broke with 10k at the first week, right now it took me a week of jk runs to get 13k u_u I can't save up anything for my gear and all I can do is 1 dungeon per day, I can't even think about the newer players that don't know how to not die oO I don't think the devs could do anything to lower the ce price, but please anyone that reads this, try to stop increasing the ce price even for just a little :'(
I'm totally for it, especially now seeing how the energy price is sky-rocketing IG. New players like some of my friends have absolutely no way to keep up and can do only about one and a half tiers 1 run per day, wich makes the game litterally horrible to play.
