And yes this isn't the best sword out there; typically it is only used as a switch to fight w/e elemental weak monster you cant beat easily with your normal sword. Thats and the fact that the final boss is a fire type doesnt help.
It seems that the OP is not going to come back to this thread so I am withdrawing.
Incidentally, I run with the Combuster (5* version) a lot. It's very nice--the charge attack has great range and a high chance of applying fire. It's faster than the DA/DF.
Kinda a waste, though--if this UV was applied as a Brandish you should've made it into a Nightblade series, for the shadow damage, to make a JK-killer. I'm gonna assume the UV proc'd when upgrading to a fireburst brandish/firebrand.
Sure, it's not very good against Vanaduke. But that's one boss out of countless strata. Chances are, if you're looking at taking on Vanaduke, you've already grabbed one of the flavor-of-the-launch swords anyway.
