Right now, it just gives you epeen, but it has been stated that it will eventually do more for the knight than just make her feel pretty.
I've always liked the idea of it being needed to access certain areas, to where your knight needs like 20K prestige or so to get into an "extra level" or so, but what would you guys like to see it do?
An accesory/costumes shop. The more prestige, the cooler items you unlock.
Sadly I have more prestige than my current CR :(

Papayas may be dark (shadow) on the outside, but we are sweet (elemental) and "juicy" (don't take that the wrong way :P). Our leaves can also give you some serious leaf cuts :P WATCH OUT!

There is a problem here:
Shock and fire both break ice. As a matter of fact, the moment you are frozen when you are on fire, the fire goes out, and vice-versa. So take fire and/or freeze of the list. :3

-> Discount limited to players in NPC purchases, where the prestige determines how much will the discount
obviously, is limited to one purchase per week and discount up to 20%
-> enable buying the recipes/acessorys on the depot, where the prestige determines how far he buys and how much ends up deducting
example: need 8000 points to enable the purchase of a recipe of 5 stars (still need to spend the 25k crowns), but each purchase deducts 800 points
-> enable some special missions, like:
Timed run: is a delivery of supplies with limited time, when end the stage in the time, the remainder is the additional premium that the player will receive (time multiplied by a factor, for crowns or in each time slot, a range of items becomes the prize, like mod calibrator, 5* resources, 3* weapons, trinket slot upgrade... even scrap metal u_u)

"Class lockdown theme stage"(I could not think of a suitable name): each class you choose will have a specific mission map in question:
the Guardians must protect the point of being attacked
the Strikers ... Obviously, attack, serving as a distraction so that recons can work, weakening their defenses
the Recons must sabotage the another side, disabling the turrents or stealing some project on the other side (gremlins always has something to offer, like the Roarmulus Twins project or the Plant map of the Operation Crimson Hammer, providing an aid to the achievement of OCH assault)
all of three classes can end this mission, but is more suitable each one take your job
obviously, will have some NPCs providing some support for every class
the mission fail if the gremlins get your point

I'm sorry for most of my suggestions spend prestige, but it is imagined as a limiter to use them
Discounts would be nice but possibly game-breaking. I think a better idea is one-time rewards (tokens, mats, bound weapons, maybe even crowns) when you reach each ranking level, like missions give you. I don't want people to grind constantly for some super rare exclusive stuff. But the current "prestige badge" system is totally pointless.
Entering the core quest...you must have certain rank to go foward...starting from your first badge...at the end of the quest you'll be granted 1 item with 3 uv that you disire, the item cannot be trade with other player, it can not be unbound...the reward will be given to player only once, if they repeat the mission there will be no 2nd reward...the final room will be a solo fight, as player will battle 1 devilite boss(make the boss small :D) and unfreezable respawnable trojans plus some random fiends :3.....or maybe gremlins
Well, you could get title ranks after earning 45K prestige and onward and you will allow to have your own title whatever you like at 100K. Such as:
E: 45K
D: 50K
C: 55K
B: 65K
A: 75K
AA: 90K
AAA: 95K
(Your title): 100K.
One possibility would be the addition of prestige costumes or accessories. Or just the ability to access those prestige costumes or accessories, so that a vendor would be able to sell them to you once you hit a certain rank.

Thats why I couldn't find it! It got moved some place and I didn't see it.... and here I was thinking that it just sunk and that no one wanted it :/ Can you like PM me or something when you wrongfully move my threads? It is my opinion that the players should not have a say in such matters, otherwise I would have suggested this in the first place. It is my wish to discuss with people, rather than to be over-ran with pet threads that will get priority to most intelligible thoughts in a vain attempt at changing the game, and as such is reflected in my ideology. If the devs feel like listening, that should be their choice and not mine. Or at least thats how I feel about this specific topic, there are others that I really want to see happen, and I think those are worth suggesting.
Anyway! Good to know what you guys think, though I'd personally rather refrain from too much more epeeny stuff e.g. More costumes etc. Unless those costumes are per say, re-buying proto gear as we were promised.
In-game store discounts would be interesting, although I feel like the T3 players already have enough power as it is without being given a discount and it could mean budget loss on promotions. If anything, it would have to be somewhat a very low bonus.
More variations on something akin to danger rooms for the T4 players that have prestige, which are of course good...

I'd say, Prestige could be used to further advance in the regard of the Spiral high command. Unlock additional missions, like timed runs to stock up supplies. I like that idea. Rushing through a level is an art. Or rushing towards a position on a map that needs to be defended against several waves of enemy attacks. And if you're really good (high prestige) you'll be amongst the first ones moving into the core.
I find it weird OOO added prestige without a clear idea of what to do with it. I hope they do have a secret plan
In my opinion, prestige shouldn't have any purpose aside from the sort of purely aesthetic things it has now, especially considering how long prestige has existed with no indication of any purpose...
A lot of players wouldn't have bothered with it specifically because it had no purpose, so it wouldn't be fair to reward those who have prestige just because they like collecting useless points.

prestige should give honor blades and battlestand when you reach the level points so each member get ALL the honor stuff when they get to the right level wich mean if you alreayd have it , you get them, if you dont , go get them

I really don't know how I feel about spending prestige though. It would be a good way to make people continue earning it, but at the same time, it wouldn't make much sense to spend your ranks on getting stuff. It would also make it a lot harder to amass a lot of it, which I'm iffy about.

If prestige does give us pets, that might not be too bad of an idea. Perhaps like "Honour Pets" or something? I'd rather not see items that are only gleaned from prestige too often however. Not sure about that.

With any update, it is wrong to discriminate against people by whether it will hurt or help them in the instance that it is released. For instance, re-releasing the valkyrie wings/halos in boxes to the masses hurt the richer players that had invested in OOO. Likewise, the new Radiant Sun Shards hurt every bomber in the game, but are slowly helping people by being less buggy-looking and by gleaning acceptance over a lengthy period of time. Those that chose not to earn prestige should not hold the rest of us back.

Prestige *could* give items like the honor items though, making a reskin isn't too hard. Or perhaps it could give recipes for them?
For instance-
Confetti alchemer recipe would take a 5* alchemer, and either CE or simply other items, and then would transmute it into a reskin. The machine to make such things would require the user to have a lot of prestige...
