If OOO/Gamecyber provides the possibility of syncing your current account to Gamecyber's Chinese/HK/TW server, will you do it?

Enough said, we all know Taiwan and Hong Kong servers exist. This will guarantee Asian players a lower ping and also better connection. Unlike the current US/EU server which is [together], [HK&TW] servers are two seperate ones. (Which means they don't share the same account like ours)

The Asian server is ran by a company called 'Gamecyber', they have more promotions, GM&player interactions and stuff but the CE price in Taiwan server is ridiculously high, 15k/100CE I think.

CE price in HK server is pretty much the same as ours, which is 7000~8500/100CE; however it consists of less people playing. (lower population)

My oppinions:
As an Australian player, playing on an Asian server won't make a huge difference. Despite not losing any of my equipments (if syncing is ever possible) I lose all my friends, my guild and many other stuff. I personally hate playing at one bar will an unstable 200~1200ms ping but I don't want to lose all friends. So my answer is a 'No'.

It's a fair trade though, saying goodbye to all your friends for a better connection. You can always make new ones... easier if you can understand Chinese -_-

Just want to know what you guys think. :)

I see the Asian server has less people, and most of them are chinese. It is definitely not a fair trade, because of the small community in it.

Syncing? Problem is language barriers. The chinese can't communicate to us, then we're dead. Solution? Add a chinese Haven...

The Chinese language support

The Chinese language support must be established first and i would definately want the possibility of syncing my data with the HK server for less ping.

Asiaaaaan flying in here

There are English players here too, ya know.....

Most of us English players in the asian server is a smaller group yes, but we do have fun, most of us gets along well. Its not impossible to talk to chinese players, some of them speaks English very well. I myself have friended many chinese players and still lead a very successful english guild over there called Alliance.

Its all about if your willing to go for it, if your too scared to move, dont, if you do move, you can have just as much fun as you can in the main server. (Moving does not mean staying here for one day then chickening back to the US server, FYI)

Yeah, apparently for that asian server, it has a problem with the download. Not sure if great firewall of china or what, I have no luck going there, thus sticking to the main server.

It's like too late. Players that already advanced there and got some unique stuff with a new character wont know what to do.

There's also a small chacne that some names might be duplicated.
A guy has a knigth on US server called X and a different guy made a knigth on China named X too. Now, what will you do?

I live in Australia the pings

I live in Australia the pings not so good but it's my American friends which drive me to play this game, no matter how much it delays you'll adapt to it, would rather play with my international friends or! We could bring all are American friends to the asian server, and then we could rule!! Mwuahahahahaha

"Great firewall of China."
That made me chuckle, because it's so true.

And yeah, Enclave speaks the truth, we're a small guild, but we speak mostly in english in the Alliance, we got a nice cozy guild hall, and we help the newbies get used to the new stuff (playing with a constant 4bars connection as opposed to the 1bar in Us was a bit traumatic for me, but in a good way).

Nope.

I actually live in the UK, so there wouldn't be much point in synching up with the Asia server. Ironically, I only made an account there because I thought there was going to be a mass migration of all my asn-inhabiting friends and then I could play with them.

(And then I lost my password. Sorry, Enclavean.)

I know right? I went to Shanghai last November, couldn't even open the youtube homepage in my smartphone, 'cuz of the stick in their sphincters with the constant website blocking. Funny thing, I was also born here in China, in Macau, and I lived here for all of my life, and I still take offense at some things Chinese people do and are oblivious to it.

@Razor: I've been fine

regrettably, I cannot recall the order in which I pushed the shiny coloured buttons.
I officially suck.

I hope you're doing okay, though.

@Papaya: I don't think being in England is currently considered to be a good thing, since we are currently suffering from a surfeit of snow at the moment which is refreezing over and making it very likely for you to fall over. It doesn't even make good snowballs because it's too dry... although I will admit that the sporadic internet connection is probably better than it could be. Have you tried proxies?
