Seriously, why don't OOO just release recipes for the honour blade and shield and award the players who originally got the 5* versions a cool trophy or something? Really, you'd think this would have been implemented by now, it would have saved a whole lot of arguing! (If you don't believe me, check out psychodestroyer's thread).

Because people only care about it since they are actual equipment they can use.
This wouldnt have happened if everyone got little useless medals of varying sizes per tier.
In fact no is complaining about the battle stands, only the sword and shield, wich proves my point :P

That's because weapons and shields can be shown off, and furniture is only useful for the guild you were in at the time.

Nothing got 'shut down', you just went over there and said 'that's cool but I prefer it this way', followed by you pretty much saying that my idea shouldn't be used for the reason that it's easier for players if they get to do it in their own time.
Which I find strange, considering your point for 'shooting down' my idea was the point the OP mentioned here, which you are again 'shooting down'.
