I see plenty of construct enemies, but why are there no spiders?

Enemy: Arachnabyte
Family:Construct
Status:Curse

A larger version of Scuttlebot with more legs, slightly slower than Lumbers, and immune to all frontal damage(strike the abdomen!) They have attacks similar to Scuttlebots, but much higher attack rate(like the alpha wolvars) Once they die, then have a 5 second countdown before they self-destruct.
Tier 2 Arachnabytes can use laser attacks like Retrodes if too far away. Think of this as the Construct equivalent of Trojans. They cannot be healed by silkwings or gremlins, instead they devour them to heal over time.(loot from devoured enemy is added to drops when killed)

Tier 1: Dark grey plating, red glow between cracks in plating.
Tier 2: Same as before, but glow is intensified and tiny tendrils seep through cracks.
Tier 3: Larger tendrils than tier 3, eyes are now visible.

Enemy: Arachnode

About the size of a battle pod, dark red plating, and purple glow/eyes. They have growths on their limbs(similar to Cromsonite, Darkmatter, Etc.)
Attacks are now AoE, and the Arachnotron can dash at Knights after firing the beam. When the abdomen is struck, he will drop a mine(similar to the Haze series, inflicting curse and another random status effect.) When killed, they will have a 3 second countdown before exploding, and will drop several mines around it upon explosion. These enemies devour others, similar to Arachnabytes, but instead of healing, they obtain a damage up/defence up buff that will stack up to 5 times. Upon reaching the 5th stack, they will become resistant to elemental and shadow. They can devour Arachnabytes as well as spawning 2-3 of them upon explosion instead of loot.

Introduction: "The Arachnabytes are examples of the cruel experiments conducted by Gremlins when they attempted to fuse the beasts of the clockworks
with machines, attempting to gain control of these creatures. There are still limbs of the Gremlin team scattered throughout the Clockworks. Tread lightly, the swarm is ever growing..."

Areas where these creatures spawn will have gremlins and knights trapped in webs, which can be slashed apart. The webs are similar to plants/valve, as they can drop either crowns or hearts.

Please give me some feedback, wether it be positive or negative.

"I see plenty of construct enemies"
That answers your question. Other types of monster dont have half the amount of different regular units.

We dont need more constructs -unless you want to suggest a new healer, that the only thing they lack-

Arachnotron to Arachnode?

Okay, Didn't know that bit. Never played Doom. Should I rename it?

Well

I didnt ever really understand copyright, nor give a CENSORED about it, but if it really bothers you, go ahead and change it.

Ive always liked Arachnotrons. Large brains sitting on a mettalic leg structure, with a plasma cannon in place of its you-know-what.

scuttlebots look spider-like,

scuttlebots look spider-like, even if they do not possess all 8 legs.

I would say, if we truly want spider spider constructs, then some upgraded scuttlebot with extra legs and attacks.

"except daddy longlegs. they eat mosquitoes."

Really? Maybe this will change your mind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWASwBWyUXI

Yes, those are daddy long legs' legs. The nest isn't made of sticks....

I honestly think this better

I honestly think this better belongs in the BEAST family. Why? Spiders have fangs that pierce. That and beasts are natural creatures (like gremlins). Make it not be so much like a construct and it could work there, or give it a darker theme and it could fit in undead. ANYWHERE but the Construct family. Show the Beast family some love!

Let's see. With beasts you have Wolvers and Chromas and their variants. Theeennnnnnn... nothing else.

arachnide = beast type,

arachnide = beast type, please. so far there are only wolvers and chromas

just that, and while they are at it, make another beast type enemy: snakes. a beast type that moves fast through the battlefield like gremlins and devilities.
