Alright, before any of you say anything, I made this thread because everyone else KEEPS FRICKIN NECROING THE OLD CROWN MAKING THREADS!!!!!

Here, I have combined all those other threads.

Method 1

Obviously, the dominant method here is farming bossess.

I mostly like to farm vanduke as it obviously give me the most crowns. If I use all my mist, i can get about 16k a day. If I can do this straight for 1 week, I get 112k. However, some players may not be up to vanaduke. An alternative is obviously JK or RT. Another farming method is doing danger missions. LOA gives you about 3100-4200 crowns each time + whatever you get from treasure boxes. LOA is actually quite good, because you only have to pay for 2 elevators. However, this compensated by the fact that your party members are complete noobs and you have to keep doing ce revives :/

Method 2

Playing the auction house is also an excellent method for gaining crowns.

Level profit = (Crowns earned + hypothetical material profit) - energy spent (IF on ce)

Keep in mind that each shard you obtain has a value of 100 crowns. If you group 20 shards together, you can sell them for 2500 crowns and so on.

GENERAL PROFIT ITEM = AVERAGE AUCTION HOUSE PRICE - (ITEM VALUE + AUCTION FEE)

that is self explanatory.

Playing the auction house: Item Forgin'

Item forging it a bit riskier and generally more expensive than material trades. Its riskier because all the high value items of 3* cost 200 crystal
energy and 2500 crowns to make which is an initial investment of 18000 crowns(as of this point price of ce may value in the (future), and when you craft an item specifically for the auction house and set a good price it does not guarantee a sell.
This goes together with a high auction fee, +/- 10% of auction bid/buy price.
And most important of all if you are wanting to forge items as a beginning player you would mostly be dependent on 1, 2 or maybe 3 items at a time since 2* cost 50 energy to make. This means that you will most likely not have too many items to sell compared to materials trading.

Also it is good to understand that most players buy an item like a sword or gun once and then start upgrading it trough item forging/crafting so most player will not rebuy an item, while materials are gone when crafted so there is always a demand :).

If you however do wish to forge and sell items remember to always calculate the value in crowns put in + auction fee and compare this with the general price at that time in the auction house in order to get a good sence of what kind of profit you can expect.

Playing the auction house: RAGECRAFTING!

Ragecraft 2 star items to get amazing uv's and then sell them!!!! Simple.

I've made tens of thousands of crowns. new players will go crazy for a striker or something that looks cool and you'll occasionally get unique variants like a magic cloak with high resistance against jellies. Sold it for 6500 crowns.

Playing the auction house: Rare items

If you get an iron lockbox in the prize wheel, you can sell it for up to 3500 crowns. Not bad!

Otherwise, you can open it with a silver key and try your luck. Things can horribly go wrong and you might get a maid's headband, or you might get extremely lucky and get a volcanic dapper combo.

Playing the Auction Hosue: Unbinding stuff and selling it

Step 1) Get 2100 ce
2) Get a sealed sword
3) Give it a UV
4) Turn it into a faust or an avenger depending on the uv (if it had asi, it wouldn't matter. If it had ctr you should make it into an avenger)
5) UNBIND THAT DAMN THING!
6) Sell it for about 200k - 400k
7) Play the waiting game
8) ???
9) Profit!

I got 300k from selling an asi low faust.

Playing the auction house: Lockdown only items

1) Play lots of lockdown
2) make a lockdown only item (e.g. elite bomb focus module)
3) Sell it for around 50k - 200k

Playing the auction house: Rare recipes

This mainly involves going to t2 or t3 arcade basil and tryin to get rare recipes and selling them for around 5k more than their original price

Method 3: Working the ce market

As you all know, ce went up to around 10k once. Partially, it was my fault. I auctioned 5k of my newly bought 20kce for 8800 crowns each unit (100ce). And yes, you may hate me now. And it just went upward from there. All other players will hate you, but if you have tons of ce, the ce market is a good place to make lots of moneh.

Ta Da!

There you have it: The combined guide to making crowns.

Should go to the New Recruits section.

My critique

Generally Method 1 : KoA gives an extra 3k per round in the form of tokens. But if you are making a crown earning guide, this is not the guide for beginners. You have not been doing LoA alot. It is very difficult, and it does not even go over 3.5k in crown payment, even at vanguard level. RT and JK are still sufficient in giving 3k per run, adding tokens, for every 30 energy.

Method 2 : Generally, if really lucky, should earn you profit. Note : Do not try to play too much, you will definitely break the economy.
2 Rules of success : #1 Don't reveal everything you know.

Method 3 : Arhhhh, I have to apologize because I had been playing with the energy market, made energy prices fluctuate.

Rolling on an ss then selling is a terrible idea, as 95% of the time you'll get a uv that adds very little to it's value and you make a net loss. Ragecrafting 2-3* items is the slowest way to earn money if you're just running on mist, and should only be used when you can't use up all your mist for the day.

the chances of crafting a valuable uv a very slim, and compared to running FSC or even the t2 bosses it's a slow way to earn money that should only be used when you can't play to use up your mist.

Also shadow max wolver is worth a lot more than 100k

Also if you're going to ragecraft you'll find yourself being the one in need of shards, not selling them.

It's way more fun to actually enjoy the game than spend all your energy on ragecrafting.
Even if you have alts. Play with both.

#1 way to make crowns

Find someone who severely undervalues an item (example: Max shadow wolver for 100K), buy said item and sell it.
