Ever notice people ran into fire into FSC and then said "Lag!!111"?
I always found it hilarious. Even better if we make them spin so their fire would be extinguished faster and relieve them of certain agonized death.

Bombers will be happy. They can spin without missing their attacks.
Wonderful, now we give everyone an incentive to start using a mouse!
This is actually a straight forward idea!

Huh! That sounds quite nice. Though I think it might only work on fire, poison, and stun. My reasoning is that you can't really shake a curse, can't move while you're frozen, and the shock is inside you.
I think the general idea is that when a status effect hits a knight, the duration of the effect can be reduced by certain action.
e.g. you spin clockwise to reduce fire, spin counter-clockwise to reduce stun, swipe your mouse horizontally (left - right) to reduce freeze, swipe mouse vertically to reduce shock, stay still to reduce poison and hit shield block really fast to reduce curse.
Freeze could be interesting if instead of thawing in 1 hit, it slowly breaks by shaking your controls.
If you are on fire, just throw a water ball anywhere. You are out of fire. Little-Juances has a good idea of when spinning, the ice starts breaking. Other effects:
Curse: Impossible
Stun: When you try spinning, you will start spinning faster
Freeze: Explained already
Fire: Already by throwing a water ball
Shock: You need to spin alot on this... When you spin, you will start seeing sparks falling. This means the shock is going to go away.
Sleep: There are no weapons associated with sleep
Poison: Not going to be possible. It will just increase it because when your poisoned, you are sick and when you spin, you get more sick and therefore, poison will increase LONGER!
Because we need more advantages. Apparently.
Does no one else think status resistance is supposed to exist to resist against being afflicted with statuses or are they only there for show?
This would not work, since there are multiple playstyles:
1. WASD movement, mouse to spin.
2. Click to move, spinning causes awkward movement, cannot move in a specific direction while spinning. Click to move is popular in Hack and slash games.
You can't favor one gameplay over the other. I personally prefer WASD since you have more control, but I've heard people say that click to move helps with dodging.
There is also remedy pills but most people probably wont pick it up when they can opt for a vial to do status effect and can avoid most status effects.
I don't think we were taught to spin when we are on fire but if we can stop drop and roll; that would leave us vulnerable when we do; it would make more sense.
I don't use a mouse and if this was implemented it'd give me a serious advantage over everyone else.
You know, mouse movement can be simulated using keyboard arrow keys.
e.g. spinning clockwise: Right, Right-Down, Down, Down-Left, Left, Left-Up, Up... Swiping horizontally: Right, Left, Right, Left,...
People who played Street Fighters on keyboard knows what I'm getting at.
Actually, when turning 180 degrees using the arrow keys, your knight always turns around in a clockwise direction, instead of the instant flip that you see on your screen. Therefore rapidly pressing the left and right arrow keys can simulate a spin much faster than any mouse user could ever achieve.
Not everybody uses a mouse.
