I learned something today: two people teaming up in Brawl with a Silversix and a Blackhawk is so maddening it makes you want to scratch your skin off.
I actually got better quickly though, to the point where I was almost a real threat.

We were just testing out the guns to see how they fare in Brawl. I must agree - they're real overpowered at the moment and they're not even upgraded to their 5* star versions yet. Long range, high speed, and low reload rate makes a real spammy and kite-able gun. Couple it with some damage bonuses, and yeah...

Do they both shoot the same shots per clip? Does the blackhawk do more damage overall than the silversix?

Multi-damage!
Both the Blackhawk and Silversix do multi-damage. For the Blackhawk, it does half Shadow damage and half Piercing damage. The Silversix, meanwhile, does half Elemental and half Piercing.
Most players don't run around with resistance to Shadow or Piercing I bet, let alone all three, so I suspect weapons that do non-Normal damage will often dominate Brawl. Until we can cook up some clever way to address the issue, anyway.

On a related/un-related note, is the avenger and faust dual damage fixed or not yet? The Avenger's damage seems to be so incredibly low still.

But.. if the current Avenger deals very low damage, my guess then goes towards the Divine Avenger being around a normal 4* weapon's damage :p which is again, disappointing.
Have you found a sun silver by the way? I'm lacking just that for my upgrade :/
