I've always wanted to get into the Coliseum. Too bad that I HIT NOTHING. Sword animations cancel as my enemy approaches. My bullets fizzle out upon contact rather than do damage, bombs disappear after being planted. The rest of the game is quite playable, little lag when fighting Vanaduke, and I can play run the clockworks normally. In Lockdown, I teleport all over the place and hit nothing. I live in the crossroads of america, so it's not like i live far from the server or anything. Sorry I'm ranting mindlessly in your forum space but Lockdown seems like so much fun and I can't get it to work.
Any tips to make Lockdown playable?
I misread that as "payable" and not "playable." There ya go OOO, make LD as DLC for $$$ and you'd get a heck of a lot of complainers but the $$$ would make up for it.

Zaffy's facepalm level increased to 6.
Server lag, duh duh. LD is in the USA server, you are in the EU server, my work here is done.
/e flys away.
Emmm....try playing it at diffrent time...occasionally, I also experience flying people phenomenon in lockdown...it is just the timing I suppose, as I am living in asia and still it is rare for me to see such lagness...oh and btw...are you playing t3? try t2 because for me t3 flying people phenomenon occur more often than in t2...oh and also ....maybe the flying people phenomenon happen because you got 1k of people watching your fight...
What do you mean Zaffy ? If I play LD on US server, it lags alot. But on EU, it is much better.
What do you mean by LD is on US ? I saw you mentioning that many times before :o
@Dragneel
Coliseum matches are hosted in the US server. Basically even if you use the EU server, going into an LD or BN match will directly bring you to the US server. Technically it said there "Krogmo Coliseum (USA)".
The whole game generally runs on the synchronization of the 2 servers, EU and US. However, LD and BN can only be played on either server, and OOO chose to host it in the US. Therefore for EU server users, you will just get latency increase et cetera.
Sadly there's no matches for EU servers, so it gets really bad for those living abroad.
I think you made a mistake Zaffy.
Try it yourself. If you are on EU for example, open the LD menu, you will see X number of players waiting or playing. Now change to US and open the menu, you will see Y players playing or waiting. Plus, that when I play on US server, it is much different than when I play on EU server.

Okay you are right dragneel
There was one more option -- "From IP"
Apparently that can sometimes bring you to a USA server if you use EU server, vice versa?
Yeah, "From IP" usually or most of times takes you to US server. Thus why I don't use it.
From IP attempts to identify the closest server in relation to your computer so it'll connect to the server that provides an optimal gaming experience. If you do indeed live closer to the European server that's where it'll put you. I have no idea why it would set you on the US server if you're closer to the EU server.
But, as was mentioned, one can manually set their server to either US or EU at will to ensure that you will connect to this server.
(Note that one can still join parties in another server.)
I'm on the US server, and as I think some people missed up there, I live in Indiana.
My computer has a Geforce GT335M (I'm on a laptop), and a Intel U7300 Dual Core 1.7ghz. Seems weak, but it actually handles most modern games fairly well. I'm not in a ranting mood anymore, and I've learned that my ISP is messing with our contracts and throttling us again, so I guess I'll just go back to not playing lockdown. :P
What are your computer specs?
I'm not able to help you either way since I don't know much about computers but other people could help you more easily if you provided this info.
