This is a suggestion thread, to state the obvious but i wanted to get this out their.
What do you guys think the pets should be like?
In PS and PSO2 the mags have several stats to effect. Acc, Dex, Rang, Strik, Def, etc... Feeding it any item in the game will increase one to several of these stats, leveling that stats takes priority over leveling the mag. And yes i know that mags evolve and give bonuses at certain levels.
In SK the stats are more equipment based rather than player based. The stats cant be leveled only increased.
One question I pose is that would it be possible to feed equipment and weapons to them or is it strictly materials?
(simply i prefer just the materials concept, we all need to do something with the thousands of junk I have collected. But if the option to feed weapons and armor exists then what would those hold over the materials?
Not to mention costumes.
Now the suggestion portion.
I feel it would be cool to have the pets built the same way as equipment, excluding the fact that you must craft to get the next star up. The first pet you get can not only be leveled up to ten, but evolves once level 10 is reached, (obviously none of this would be trad-able to add more urgency to leveling them and to force players to put more time into the game rather than just buying the best).
It would be cool if eventually they held the same versatility as a mag simply because instead of getting a specified class of attack, defense, or cripple, you can mix and match them suiting whichever needs a player might have.
In the matter of stats i was thinking that making it so the pets main purpose is providing resistance to effects like poison, stun, fire, freeze, and the things we cant always guard against rather than focusing more on the players base defense and those stats.
Piercing is a [bucket] for me.
Finally I think it would be awesome if the Sprites could be built to provide better help in the shadow lairs.
Maybe increased player health.
According to nick, you feed materials to develop abilities and you can change their "collars" to change damage type.
But they provide active abiltiies, no passive bonus.
If you want more health or protection agaisnt certain statsues, we already have trinkets and Unique Variants.
And thats enough, we dont need pets for that prupose. The combined effects of so many bonuses could make us immortal.
