What would happen if a Game Master could ...?

Ok so me and some of my guildees got stuck in the Vana glitch where he just stops moving all together. We were stuck right before he puts out the fire to fight. I put in a bug request, about 30 seconds later Cronus came and helped us out. Afterwards when he got us back to Vana he left. We beat Vana, and went back to our guild hall. We started talking about what Cronus would drop if we could kill him like a monster. Someone said he would be kinda like Jelly King, he would like choke and stuff, then explode rainbows and candy. Others thought he would drop millions of ce. I thought we would drop 300 of every item in the game.

What do you think would happen if you could fight a GM like a boss battle? What would they drop at the end?

Do you think GMs could be playing as a regular player in their free time? You never know O_o they might even be one of your guildmates.

Questions for the GMs:

Do you ever get any free time to just play SK? If so about how long?

Is it fun being a GM, or is it a pain in your butt?

Do you like potatoes? :O (Random Question FTW)

I reckon GMs must get really sick of pulling silly players out of the same old stupid places, or just getting irritated at the overall derpiness of the community.

Once a friend of mine was doing one of the Prestige missions that ran through Clockwork Tunnels, and it was the module where there's a diagonal row of indestructible blocks running across a square room. There are 4 ghost blocks on different sections of the indestructible blocks, and both the ghost blocks and the indestructible blocks respawn.
Turns out my friend, while chasing an enemy, had stumbled onto the far corner block while the others around him respawned, and he had no way of escaping.
When we finally got a GM to help us out, the GM actually asked us if it was done intentionally. (it wasn't, the respawn rate of the blocks was just rediculously fast)
That is probably one of the rarer cases, but the amount of times I've seen people place down Titan Statues inside wheel launchers and needing GMs to pull them back out is quite disturbing. The GMs even ask the party to try to avoid doing that, so I feel their frustration.

And then there's the billions of questions they get bombarded about like "when's such and such being released" etc.

it's the only weapon that still has 'friendly fire'.

No, seerusly. If you're in range of that thing when the charge goes off, you're going to take damage, even if you're an ally.

The Grand Hammer of Game Masters!

Yeah I think GMs would get pretty frustrated with getting Knights out of the same situation over and over.

When a GM died Energy with a few crystals should start to swirl around the GM like a tornado. While that is happening the GM should start to glow and when it gets really bright it would explode. :D Then drop Crystal energy as glowing blue crystals :DDDD

The Grand Hammer of Game Masters! The ultimate weapon of GM Doom.

Ban Bazooka - I'm pretty sure the name speaks for it self :O

Ban Bomb (Idea from Canine-Vladmir) - Just like Dark retribution but instead of dark energy orbs circling it, Ban sticks will. Then they all explode like Shard bombs :D

Actually the weapon is only a resking of whatever the favorite weapon of the GM is, like their suit/helm. Only the shield is intact

Most of the time their troll their friends. I have one guild member that is friendly with 2 GM and one popped in his LD game and messed around. Also I know someone who ask to be hit by the ban stick and he survived. He took a lot of dmg though (1 swing o.O)

See trolling here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yk9ezB3K5c

I can't speak as to what we'd

I can't speak as to what we'd drop if beaten (though personally I think Clotho is a pinata full of rainbows and happiness), but we do have "civilian" accounts we play the game on. We get plenty of free time if we want to - it's like any other job, we don't get chained up in a cupboard and brought out to work! ;) Personally I've been a little obsessed with trying to beat Dishonored without anyone seeing me, lately - the Whalers, man, they have eyes everywhere -, and that's been taking up my gaming time.

Potatoes are win. Especially baked ones. Mmmmm. My fellow GMs can also attest to my affection for leek and potato soup.

I love my job. There are some situations I like less than others, either because they make me sad (scammers are a good example here) or because they're a tad frustrating (someone mentioned the stuck statue thing - I think that's at the top of my list for "things I really wish we could pin down the cause of" at the moment. The totems don't get stuck, so I recommend using those over the statues if you feel you have to block the wheels. If you do get stuck, please file a bug report!) but on the bright side I can make sure scammers don't scam again, and I can rescue folks who are stuck, so that's satisfying. Some things, I can't do anything about, and that's frustrating for me and the player who's experiencing whatever issue it is. Generally speaking, knights are awesome and really fun to talk to. We do speak with the odd person whose frustration overcomes their courtesy, but that's rare enough that most of us can actually name all the knights that's happened with (we won't. Don't ask.), because it's rare enough to be memorable.

Actually, one of the parts of my job that's mostly just a small side-effect has been that lately my business has taken me into a bunch of Guild Halls, and it's really neat seeing how everyone's decorated theirs, big and small. There was one a few weeks ago that looked like Winterfest had exploded all over it, and I'd been having a rough day, and it cheered me up to no end. There was another where the knights had made a mosaic out of various colors of plants, and that was super cool.

You're awesome.

Darn, being a GM sounds like so much fun!

I reckon you're not allowed to talk about your "civilian" accounts, right?

And, what kinds of issues require your presence in a guildhall? I really have no idea.

We're allowed to talk about

We're allowed to talk about our own civilian accounts, but we prefer to keep them private - I don't know of anyone who's named themselves. For Guild Halls, sometimes rooms get stuck and it's easiest for us to go there and poke at it. We usually do that when it's empty, though. If it's something that requires us to concentrate, we'd prefer it if people don't feel ignored.

When a GM is defeated ...

There is a brief rip in space-time in which every change ever rendered to the game via patches briefly unravels, allowing manifestations of items or creatures that have not existed in some time. Reported anomalies include multiple previous-version Radiant Sun Shards bursts, sleep mists over a wide area, the appearance of giant honeycombs, and, in at least one incident that resulted in several civilian casualties, the sudden appearance of a rather infuriated Vog Cub. The assassin usually dies in the resulting chaos, which may or may not be intentional. Fortunately, the GM respawns shortly thereafter.

You are experiencing a PICNIC ERROR!

Seriously speaking, what would a GM give you? Being I want to make a RPG fan game, I'm planning on having an easter egg that features 4 or 5 of the GMs in one exceedingly difficult boss fight. Tou can't actually kill them, but when they run out of health it would say something along the lines of Hyperion disconnected, leaving an explosion of yummy candy!. (This line makes me think you would take damage from the yummy-candy-explosion.)

I think yummy candy would be a consumable which would fully heal and fully re-energize your whole party. Currently, the only other item that might come from the fight would be the shadow espresso.

EDIT: I think the GMs have their special guild. I don't think it's likely for some non-GM to be in that guild. I may be wrong.
