Sorry, I've been wondering this for a while now: Why do people prefer LD over BN? In all honesty I don't see the appeal in playing LD, maybe it's just my crappy connection that makes me prefer BN more... (Although lately with all the lag I get in it makes me want to play SK even less)

Blast network has practically nothing to do with the game. It's a truly random minigame.
In Lockdown, you use your own weapons and armor. It looks more like a fight. It's a "real" pvp for spiral knights.

My opinion
I'm actually pro Blast Network.I play BN because gear does matter there.It's all about skill, and there is less raging going on there as well.Everything else has been said by everyone else.

because people dont even know ld is capture the point and just go there to kill themself when you have to capture ALL THE POINTS BY YURSELF , thats why blast network sound cooler

my 2 cents
I converted two of my friends who were addicted to LD. Farming krogmo coin is more efficient in BN... They were (and are still) bad but they enjoy it more, you should give BN a try.
It is worth it.

The only bad part about BN,
The only bad part about BN, for me, is when I do a team battle, and my partner keeps killing him/herself. Makes me lose a ton of cr just doing it.
Because in LD dispite me experiencing flying people phenomena, I still manage to blowup some striker with my blaster line bombs before I died :P
