I appreciate all your effort and the long-awaited arrival of Kat gear, but not the delivery. Having grinded my little spiral butt to the bone in almost all events for the last 1 1/2 years, I think I'm done grinding.
A new Boss, hell I don't know, a Kat boss might've been cooler. But maybe that's just me. And this is coming from a dude who loves cats. I'm going to be the male version of the old cat lady, I might even marry her but I can't bring myself to grind anymore.

Yes but the boss is a once-a-day mission, not a real boss. It's not a boss I can grind for pricey rewards. Consider that if you only do the "boss" you'll get four pages a day. Since this is only open to Feb 13, that gives you, around 60 tokens. You can buy yourself a 3* mask for that. And what 5* T3 player is happy with a 3* mask? Not me, i can tell you that much. so to get the "boss" items you have to grind normal levels. I think that's what OP is talking about. A real new boss zone would be much better.
What about the unlockable boss, eh? The book one. I'm pretty sure this isn't a grindable mission, but who the heck wants to grind something? It'll be no better than FSC.

Thats if you find the book. Also we only get like 3 tokens a day and we have 13 days 13x3= 39 thats not even enough /Facepalm Im starting to think this is a BIG rip off.

i got 20 tokens today ... blackkats are findable EVERYWHERE remplacing normal kats ... no go look at missions such as weight of darkness or alone in the dark for mroe tokens

Yeah I mean a real boss. Not 2.9 recycled levels and a battle vs two black cats and various other undead stuff.
EDIT: Also the fact that this is an event and not a permanent thing dissuades me. Hurry up and waste your mist finding them tokens! Sure, they said it will return but they said that for the Monster Pockets and they came back many months later and were no different. A permanent addition with higher token costs for balance might've appealed to me (and I'm sure others) more.
Those new guild hall accesories are purdy but not content aged veterans of this game truly want.

While the event itself should be limited, I will be VERY disappointed if Black Kats completely go away when it is finished, or if they stay but don't drop grimores.
I'll only be disappointed if we cant craft the new hats after valentine's. All the other token stuff (boss tokens, cake, winter wishes, halloween whatevers) were FREE. Then again they had no stats, but at the rate pages drop, you'll be lucky to get ONE 5* hat by the time the event is over.

You don't understand. By making a grinding mission that takes people away from FSC, CE prices drop.

price drop because EVERY SINGLE ONE WITH A WALLET BUY CE FOR MOORCROFT FURNITURES wich mean high stock of ce and low demand

At least read the posts before posting your uninformed answers. You're telling me that you could kill this not-a-boss kat with just two brandish charges?

This is what OOO is doing to reduce the prices, by adding incentives to buying CE so that buyers out there buy more ce and sell it to the consumers. OOO also add more content so that people focused more on grinding these type of missions instead of others. You've seen Winterfest...

I've read the post and replied before seeing Nineball one (and quite frankly, didn't knew about this "semi-boss" up until late last night
I haven't beat it yet and have only seen someone fight that kat with a Scissors blade, so when I'll get there with my dmg max brandish (which is pretty easy to get), well see how it goes
But the Black Kat are still too easy, they literally die from 2 charged brandish when you solo them.
Also: You can farm 5 pages a day with the mission but you can farm all day doing Arcade... Already got 51 pages in 2 days, and the 2nd day just started...
Edit: When I say brandish, I mean 5* brandish, Glacius/Combuster/Voltedge mostly since Acheron does shadow dmg

You can farm all day...with a pass, not everyone has a pass or is willing to spend thousands of CE everyday just to get deceived.
Maybe they can throw a few Black Kats in some sort of mission or danger room.
A danger room with four Black Kats in one wave, each of them surrounded by stone blocks when they spawn, and Grim Totems covering a lot of the field, sounds like a heck of a fight. Or maybe a Black Kat that spawns in the first wave, behind a gate that only opens on the final wave... and causes Carnavons to come swarming out all at once when everything else goes down. Good luck.

im just saying that the BOSS have been mentioned .. not normal blackkat .. they even gave links to picture and videos .. wich mean you had all the chance to see that there was ACUTALY a boss .. not a enemy spawning curse zombies .. just .. literaly .. a boss
There are ways to get a lot more than 3 tokens a day. I've gotten 20 or so in < a few hours.
yeah and to get to the boss you need to grind 1000 lvls just to get the frickin book! or get lucky... seen a knight with the helm an hour after the frickin thing launched and ive been grinding all day and don't even have 50 pages yes let allone the damn book!
