I'm gonna jump on the opposite side, for now. last night I managed to get nicked by a Black Kat while trying to dodge endless curse zombie lolspam on T3. I didn't have any curse-resist gear on.

This is one Kat. Suppose the Spawn rate was higher, and on T3 5 or 6 Black Kats spawned at once. Curse time can be reset with subsequent hits.

Add to that curse zombie lolspam, projectiles, and other kats that are faster-

I'd rather a couple kats than another Winterfest T3 nightmare, ESPECIALLY if my PUG is bad. Just sayin.

Black Kat spawn rate is fine. Black Kats are great. Carry around some remedy pills an use a hammer. The dash eats Kats.

Seriously though, yeah. suppose I could use a Rocket. Kat rate is still fine though (although I have an ele pass so I just jump around in the arcade and whatnot ignoring normal kats, if it cost me 10 mist to do that I'd probably be miffed, but not as miffed as having to spend all my mist looking for them only to have a group of them spawn and eat the rest through revs. )

Shiver + blitz/volcanic pepperbox = every enemy that's not fast-and-immune-to-freeze or resists-fire-and-piercing dies in approx. 10 seconds. Why does anyone complain about things being hard?

(hint: those criteria are met by three things: freeze kats, freeze fiends, and toxoils/toxilargos/oilers.)

On my run today, me AND a guild mate had encountered a pair of Black Kats within a short timeframe.

I hear people talking about the rate of Black Kat spawns being similar to Impostocubes, but I've seen more Black Kats these past few days ALONE then I have Impostocubes.

My 2 cents

The other day I had a Glacius charged when I got hit by zombie "spewing" curse flames and couldn't use my Glacius anymore. I was able to get re-cursed 3 times to get my Glacius un-cursed and release my charge.

5-6 kats? I would LOVE to get into that fight!! I'm so tired of fighting 1v1... or 1v4 >.<
